  1. What do you guys use to read Navionics chips on your computers? (NV2 files)
  2. Fantastic report Tyler. I'll have a little more time later to enjoy it properly. Thanks for putting it together and sharing it with us.
  3. Looks like it could be cast as the main character in the Friday fright night movie.
  4. Good video, Craig. Thanks for the heads up.
  5. A beauty for sure, Dave! You're thinning out and here I thought you were sposed to heavy up for the winter. Now I'm gunna get spat upon for this and I know that we should all do our best to safely release our fish but I really don't think that in those temps you should be taking a chance on losing your fingers. Maybe I'm just getting old....can't take extreme cold or heat as well as I once could. A great fish though Dave, and I enjoy all of your reports.,
  6. I almost never have my rod out of the water (as it were ) while muskie fishing. When trolling, the rod is always a down rod (in the water) cause I don't see the use of injuring or possibly killing a muskie by fighting it an extra 100 or more feet in the water. Casting of course is the exception but even then, the last several feet approaching the boat, the rod is always in the water for the customary figure 8, L or what have you.
  7. Great report, Nick. It must have been nice and peaceful there on that lake. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Hey John. I just checked this morning. Those bulbs are what I use in a 6 bulb light over the kitchen table so I have a few left 'til It I swap it out for a led lamp. I happened to be in Costco this morning and saw a skid of them, sold in bulk packs of 10 for 11.99 + tax. If you want me to pick you up a few bulk packs, let me know and I'll be more than happy to send them to you. Let me know soon though in case there's a run on them.
  9. I hear ya loud and clear, Lew.
  10. That's a great 1,000th post! Maybe the best anniversary thread posted here. Thanks for sharing. I'm not a betting man but I'm sure the 50+ will grace your boat in 2014.
  11. These Quebec guys put out a yearly muskie video. This is an original alternative format. Those of you who are getting your muskie stuff together for the upcoming season, this video should get the old blood circulating. Enjoy!
  12. Almost as good as horse meat.
  13. Some people would kill to have that kind of a neighborhood, Lew. Great pictures. It must be nice to have a morning coffee watching them. Well, maybe an afternoon coffee in your case.
  14. Glad you're both safe and having a good time, Cliff. Enjoy all the time you have on your trip.
  15. That's fantastic Kevin and friends! Some beauty eyes there. Thanks for sharing...good music too!

  17. Yup....they work well. I only have the treble models.
  18. Good news indeed, Rodelu. Super that the fellow helped you out and that you and the boys got into some fish. It's hard to imagine someone flatly refusing to help out though. Glad it all worked out.
  19. Just beautiful! Thanks for that.
  20. Leafs are still behind the Habs in the standings. Are the Leafs using the Habs as their benchmark to success?
  21. It'll be pinned on the 22nd of this month. In the meantime, it's staying as close to the top as you decide to make it. Things are good.
  22. The year I turned 65 I bought a fishing license because my birthday was in July and I knew that I'd certainly be fishing before July. The following year I didn't buy one.
  23. Great work, Art! Gunna get one of those wicked edge things. I now use stones and the blades feel sharp but I know that I'm just damaging the blades.
  24. Both passages quoted are grammatically correct.
  25. It sounds perfectly clear to me. Which part do you think might be confusing to people?
