  1. Hmmmm I'll bet your wife hides all the utensils and garden tools before going to bed eh?
  2. Welcome aboard. Nice bass in your avatar too.
  3. That'll buff right out. Glad it's over with.
  4. Sue Lew maybe?
  5. I should also change the program to translate it to "bourgot" then, which is the correct spelling of that word.
  6. You guys need to read a little more and try to understand that big business IS the government. The best thing you can do for yourself and your family right now is learn to be self-sufficient. Teach your children. Don't whine about it, just protect yourselves.
  7. For those of you looking for a Pete Maina round reel, I think I've found a supplier. These people are well known in our community and are also advertisers with us. Give them and the Maina reel a try. You won't regret it. Click HERE
  8. Welcome aboard. Without knowing what your son fishes for or what he already has as fishing gear and for his boat, it's a little difficult to steer you in the right direction. Even an approximate location would help. Does he have fishing friends you can perhaps get a hint from?
  9. Nice. You're very close to some of the best fishing Ontario has to offer. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Wow! Impressive....another topic and another link to your site. None of those boys in that video are wearing a pfd. That's far from calm water and not a very good example of sportsmanlike behahiour throwing fish at each other either. You'll attract a certain kind of individual for sure. But hey, that's just my opinion.
  11. I can cast farther than you! hahahaha I can cast as far with my baitcasters as with my spinning reels but that's certainly not the goal. The farther away the bait is from me, the less control I have over it. They both have their application but I now have 3 baitcasters to every one spinning reel. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of line over runs I get in a season. I get more line loops around the rod tip with spinning reels than birdsnest....by a long shot. But hey, that's just my opinion.
  12. That won't work Drifter. I know some folks who are less than brilliant who would never ever deviate from the word of the law. And some others with reasonable IQs who think that they are above the law. Also, in your scenario, politicians could never operate a boat.
  13. The 3 on the right, vertically from the top. Crazy Krawler. Hula Popper and Jitterbug have worked well for me for at least 40 years. I have no Crazy Krawlers left now though. The last few years, the Pop-Rs and Moss Boss/Slad Spoon have been working well. On a dead calm day over and through weeds better early mornings and evenings though. Pitch dark nights is a fantastic time. Biggest error committed with those baits is setting the hook too fast. Lots will instinctively set the hook when they see or hear the splash. Not good.
  14. I'll bring some rods and reels with me to Lakair, Bud.
  15. That was one of the featured songs in Shrek, believe it or not.
  16. Nice! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttv5dyvtF4o Can't be embedded, by request.
  17. Good story Bill. Thanks for sharing.
  18. WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! WTG! You did really well!
  19. AWWWWWWWWW That was gunna be my surprise at Lakair. Climb aboard the OFC bus!
  20. It's a bad sign when you get to your favorite lake and you see this.
  21. Some fine looking fish there Ben and Kelly. Congrats to you both.
  22. FishiNAutographs, you've got to understand that when Europeans refer to Franco-American or Italo-American, they mean and include all of North America. It's not a slap in the face at all. And, if you want proof, take a jaunt over to Normandy or Dieppe for a few days and you'll be blown away by their recognition of Canadians' service to them.
  23. Thanks for that, Simon. You guys had a great day. Man, I'd love to take a shot at that lake.
  24. Good stuff Pete. Nice to hear from you.
  25. Wat to go Cliff, Carole and Sydney! You go get'em Sydney!
