  1. One week, mid October, Bay of Quinte with Fishhunter. You'd better book now though. I think that's what I'd do.
  2. Not muskie. Is there sturgeon in that water?
  3. Swishmick, you're thinking outside the box. That's a good thing. Good post, thank you.
  4. That really IS a beauty! Congrats to you and thank you for sharing.
  5. Another awesome report guys. Always new waters and in depth descriptions of your trips....just great! Mike is an explorer and as far as I can tell, so is Sir William. I have a feeling we won't get another report of the same place. Wherever the report is from, I'm sure it'll be super. Thanks again.
  6. Why thank you Julie!
  7. Ghostery is an add-on for Firefox. You can download it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9609/
  8. No issues with PowerPro at all here. Methinks someone bought some counterfeit. Bad packaging is easily identifiable.
  9. Brian, you know that I'm a tiller guy but if I was to want something else, it would be a center console. I've always liked your boat but you've done a super job getting it rebuilt. As for your motor having urinary problems, my last motor used to do that once in a while and the best thing I found to clear it up was an 18" length of .080" lawn trimmer cord. Stuff it down the hole as it's running.... Keep up the good work. She's looking super!
  10. Great report as usual, Joey! Wish I could have joined you for a day at Lakair but it wasn't in the cards. You have some great shots in there. I'm really glad you both had a relaxing holiday.
  11. Good shootin' Flyguy. That cisco sure looks like a sucker from here. But you're right...not an easy pic to be making a fish ID.
  12. GEEEEEEEZ Phil...scary stuff for sure. Did anyone at the hospital mention you keeping an epipen on you?
  13. Sounds like a karma thing to me, Paul. I was invited to the opening of the Brossard store and I still haven't managed to visit. Glad your wife is keen on fishing...makes it a lot easier. The next step will be to teach her how to use the motor (if she doesn't already know)...it's an important safety thing but mostly, it'll also give YOU first crack at the fish being at the front.
  14. They're their own company as far as I know, Henry. Vertex Standard.
  15. Sorry I can't help you with a product Jay but, if I were you and I had a little time to get this done, I'd be tempted to contact a chemical engineer type dude for some of the advesive companies out there like 3M and others. They could steer you to an existing product or a recipe. I also have a hunch that the product would be free for a chance at using your experience as an advertising tool for themselves. It would/could be a high profile example of their product's strength under extreme conditions....just a thought.
  16. No, you can get a neighbour or a friend to sit in with you......I don't think he needs to be in the same room as you either.
  17. I think they sell them at Vaughan BPS for 6.99 for 11 in sizes 2, 4 or 6.
  18. Yup, Joey and Paul are there and on wifi at nights for hellos. Say hi to them and you have yourself a great time!
  19. I wish I could have entered. But, in Quebec it's the government that runs all draws and lotteries. But then they also run alcohol, gambling and prostitution. Good luck to all my OFC Buds.
  20. Sounds like a regular Saturday night around a pool in these parts too, John.
  21. That's because the water levels are low on Nipissing.
  22. Speaking of Canadian Tire, have any of you received the latest flyer? Check out page 23, bottom right. There's a headlamp modeled there by one of our illustrious members.
  23. Lots of gullible people around, Terry. You never know.
  24. I've told this story a dozen times here but....a long time ago, I had an Eagle Ultra or whatever it was. I had converted it to being portable. I was mostly running it when I was in places where I could not bring my own boat in. The security system in the house used a 12V, 7.5A battery backup plugged into a transformer that would keep it charged. I had 2 batteries and whenever I went north to those lakes, I'd simply swap out the fully charged security battery for the other. It would last me 3-4 days on the water and when it was time to go north again, I'd simply swap them out of the security system again. The batteries were always fully charged.
  25. HAHAHAHA Great story!
