  1. Yeah well....my kids are in their 40's, I have 11 grandchildren...Great grandfather soon. Hell yeah, I'm at death's door....I'm just waiting for my ride. Life in the old days wasn't as bad as they all make it out to be. Our history books only had one chapter...school was a cakewalk.
  2. Yes...AK is very good, great voice, a super band and she's an accomplished violinist however.....in these styles it's referred to as a fiddle. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MuGJaU25ZIA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  3. Sure, as soon as I have the time to find it.
  4. Hand it over then. I have a great pic of Lew smiling. It was taken on my birthday at Beans and Maribeth's house 8-9 years ago.
  5. Fallfish
  6. You guys have a safe and fun trip. LSC will be OFC celebrity waters this weekend. Looking forward to reading the fishing tales.
  7. Just be glad to know that y'all now have another language to add to your CV.
  8. They've been there since at least '09 haven't they?
  9. The newer spools are grooved, Paul.
  10. I'll call Canadian Lynx on that one. Very little doubt. While their ranges overlap, there are far more Canadian Lynx in your area than the smaller lynx (bobcat).
  11. Thanks Dave, I should have looked that up first. They certainly look like the horse chestnuts.
  12. Yeah, Yeah...I know I can roast them on an open fire but these things are all over the place and I have a few pails full. I don't like wasting things and I don't see any recipes sounding too interesting. The only way I'm used to eating them is directly from the vendors in downtown Toronto when I was younger. Any hints? Thanks.
  13. Excellent! That dude doesn't look too happy at all eh? A big thanks to Dave Mercer and to SUBWAY® along with all else who made this happen. Thanks Ryan for sharing this with us.
  14. Calling for an investigation are they?
  15. Most of us still work even when it's cloudy and raining. Some of us even work when it's cold and when it's snowing. If you absolutely can't go out in the rain, why don't you modify one of those sleds you have for sale to hold Baby LaLa's box of toys and add a tow bar to make it easier for him to go play out on the ice? How about sewing zippers to the bottoms of your pants pockets. It'd make it much easier to remove perch.
  16. Mike if you promise to make good on both A and B, I'll overnight you a bottle of BBQ sauce (topical and non-allergenic) and a case of duct tape.
  17. And ChrisK to chuck'em, and ChrisG to tell ChrisK where to chuck'em....Mike, your job is to fight them into Cliff's waiting net...wait, timeout! We need a cameraman!
  18. Dann, PM me the dimensions, weight, size hook etc.
  19. What a trip! Absolutely gorgeous fish, guys. Congrats and thanks loads for posting.

    Bait making

Absolutely gorgeous, Chris. I'd have trouble getting around the heart tremours and palpitations slapping that thing down in a Down Easter.
  21. I'm far away but you never know.
  22. That was posted here last month or so. I must have watched it a dozen times. You can't really tell how fast the dude's going until that camera angle where there's a guy waiting holding up the balloons. It's the kind of clip you can't watch just once. Thanks.
  23. Fantastic milestone for you, congrats!
  24. This thread may not end well either.
  25. I don't know if you're talking about the same kinds of places but the stocked ponds that I know are the ones I used to take the kids to once or twice a year. Some were pay per pound ponds others were pay per fish. Kinda like going to the fish store with a fishing rod. You'd throw a kernel of corn or a blueberry, ANYTHING in there and you'd have 100 trout boiling up to the surface. Fun for a few fish for the kids but not my idea of fishing at all. They don't have to abide by Provincial fishing regulations at all. They only had one rule. If you catch a fish, you just bought it.
