  1. Yikes for sure! That would make Christmas "Red Green Day"
  2. I have not used them but they must be good. Maina uses them and he never cheaps out on baits. I think he's sponsored by Sebile but I'll trust his word anytime.
  3. Do your research on the propane unit before investing. ie: temperature where propane will not vapourize. I don't know, it's just something I'd check.
  4. Remember, there's no such thing as "safe ice". Charts are just a guide under ideal conditions.
  5. Take the reels off the rods.
  6. Great find, Simon! I still want to hear about your wife's story though. BTW, With words like "felt" and "teet" I was sure that this was going to be a fishing thread. There was no "NF" in the subject line. Thanks for the story.
  7. Very very nice. Lots on the Simcoe Open would have loved a couple of those.! Congrats to you and your bud.
  8. I must be missing something but that's not unusual.
  9. A great picture, Aaron! A real little cutie. Congratulations to you and your wife. Your two first are 9+ pounds! Wow, you'd take the Simcoe Open hands down!
  10. Paul, are you complaining or just jumping on the bandwagon. If you're just jumping on the bandwagon with a few others, that's your prerogative. If you're complaining, you're not knocking on the right door. Whether you're talking about a current local, national or world issue, or posting about something dear to you such as your family or even posting your wife's wildlife photos, many people enjoy them. If you or anyone for that matter is against these kinds of threads, PM or email myself or any of the moderators and we'll discuss it. In the meantime, the community has been successful and growing for more than a decade. (That's even before you arrived here.) Thanks for reading.
  11. Leave him alone. He's not well. I think it's his PH level.
  12. And the question has been answered. Gobies must be killed prior to their release anywhere no matter how they were caught.
  13. Beautiful! Glad you all had a good time.
  14. One of the easiest ways for auto manufacturers to reduce the need for side impact protection in cars is for them to eliminate the possibility of internet connection/reception for occupants of the front seats in cars while the engine is running. But that'll never fly.
  15. Sounds great. Have a good trip and don't forget the camera!
  16. JEEZ No, gobies are not considered deserving of a life. They should be squashed with much vigor.
  17. This has been happening since the beginning of time and every time it occurs, everyone is surprised. Y'know, it might happen again soon eh?
  18. Actually it's 1 from BC, 3 from AB, 1 from SK, 1 from ON, 1 from QC and 1 from NS. But the 3 from AB probably come from QC.
  19. Coulda been worse. He coulda had a McDonald's coffee on his lap.
  20. It's obviously photoshopped. There's no centerpin.
  21. Yeah, we'll see if you still love your dog when ol' "Butch" starts meeting you at the door in a négligée.
  22. Way to go Devon. I'm hearing about your success from here in Quebec....you're getting famous. I see ChrisK's rod in the background there with a big 5 of Diamonds spoon on it. Maybe you should have a word with him about that eh?
  23. Love the report, Simon. Those youngsters will have super memories later in life. Congrats.

    Habs

They picked a good year for it. The roads are a shambles here for a parade. Good luck to the Leafs.....this year, maybe this year?
  25. ALL of it should make us think. Maybe a few of us should print that and maybe have a little read and compare that to our own "past 365" days whenever we get upset because our favourite tributary looks like chocolate milk or the traffic in to work was just awful. You truly are an inspiration, Jen.
