Well fifteen minutes before legal hunting was ending he finally walked out for me. I am sure I made a good shot but with light going fast I decided to leave him for the night and go look for him in the morning. Not the biggest one I had trail cam pics of but he is a nice buck none the less here is a couple pics of him off my trail cam Will post some pics tomorrow

great report T.J i wish I had known you were up there or i would have stopped in at the cabin although after looking at the table i am maybe glad i didn't know nice buck and bull you guys got by the way if you ever get up here in the summer that point in the first pic holds tonsof smallies (at least it did this summer and last) those wolf tracks are common there on that beach ...we were ice fishing of that pointa couple of winters ago and had six timbers come out on to the ice from near the cabin..one was a beautiful black one hope to meet up with you next time you come up there you should come up in the summer and do some pre season scouting would love to show you and monique the area and enjoy some great fishing rick

spent most of saturday and sunday either walking or driving and glassing cuts. nothing but a limit of grouse both days poured rain all weekend here 4 inches total in the three days couple friends did connect with a nice bull on saturday in a different area though had too come home early as too warm to let hang Rick

i know in our area here hunters do not have to wear orange until the moose and deer rifle season opens which for most areas is this saturday before that it is your call if you want to be safe or not (or shot at )

I may be a little biased as I live in nw ont right on the us border smack between lotw and rainy a few areas i have personally fished that i could suggest are the pipestone burditt(locals call it clearwater) chain lots of camps to stay at many with outposts on connecting lakes nestor falls area which would put you on lotw or kakagi (crow) lake as well as numerous small lakes or my personal favorite for smallies and pike would be the mine centre atikokan area if you like i could send you some names of camps that i know the owners of as alot of them deal with us here at the home hardware store i work at

ok here are the saturday morning pics got six smallies this morning in about two and a half hours they weren't really smashing the topwater like they were yesterday had a quick bite to eat and am heading back out after watering the dogs and gin-ving them a bite to eat ok here is todays honey hole all of them came from that chunk of shoreline ok thats it I am off to try and get a few more hopefully will post some more tonite

well got 3 eyes tonite but was only remembered to take a picture of one will post more pics of smallies tomorrow i hope a 23" the other two were about 18inchers cant wait til morning

supposed to be 28 - 31 celcius this weekend and lots of sunshine (fingers crossed)

leaving work at noon today to head to mine centre to the in laws house 3 days of fishing and relaxing all by myself wife and kids are in alberta visiting her sister and the mother and father in law just left today to go there as well Two lakes within a half mile of the inlaws house with a choice of walleye smallies northerns and muskie in one and walleye smallies northerns and lake trout in the other mmmmmmmmm decisions decisions will post report tonight with pics (I hope) of my catch ok here are the friday afternoon pics unbelieavably the first cast and it just got better and here is the secret spot seven smallies on topwater and about five or six missed he lure now i am heading out for some eyes hope to post again tonite

Don't really want to get into this discussion and I agree we should defend the innocent but these kids were found guilty from what I have read
