CTC has sales on lifejackets once in a while for 19.99, and I find that they usually only have the larger size. (opps i mean the regular size, only weird people like me wear Medium) lol, my whole family is quite skinny so it was tough to find the right size at the sale.

nice boat nancur373. I just bought my "new to me" boat 2 months ago so I TOTALLY know how you feel right now . IT"S JUST AMAZING. I bet you can't wait to take her out. When I first started out looking for a boat, I didn't care how it will look, I just simply needed something that floats and functional so I can be out on the lake to fish. I've been following your threads when you bought the motor and then the boat, that's a great deal. Ya it can defintely be pimped up but it will still do the job. now get out there and lets see a report! If you need any help with the boat/trailer registration & pleasure craft licensing, let me know, I just did all of that for my boat.

I personally haven't figured out how to fish the islands yet, have only caught 1 decent pike after numerous outings ... but it does have good pike/bass/carp fishing once you do find a way. I see that you have been reading up on fishing in toronto so you have probably seen this ... are you looking for the "original" senko? or just something similar? Lebaron carries their own line of soft plastics, they've got like, tubes, lizards, worms .. and they do have something that looks like a senko. I have been using that and have caught a few rockies with some largies. For around $2.50 a pack it's much cheaper than the real stuff.

They set the 2 rod for boats out at Lake O mainly for the charter. Lots of people travel here to target salmon/trout out in the lake and it brings in big bucks. It would be nice if they can allow 2 rods for carp/cat fishing as well .. since it's mostly a waiting game... however it would be more work for the COs when they try to charge someone for using 2 rods, people can just argue that they are going for carp, and not bass/pike/walleye/etc. When you aren't using live bait for the other species, you won't have enough hands to use two rods to throw lures anyway.

8 degrees drop? that's quite alot. My theory is that.. when I don't catch anything that day, and the temp has dropped, I consider it a cold front and I'll stick to that lol. Yeah I can tell there are some difference in the pattern/color. But come'on man, you can't catch 2 bass, flip it over and tell us you caught 12. lol. just playing. 12 worms = 12 fish is pretty sweet. Nice report man.
