  1. more or less wire leaders will hinder the action of the lure. I find that it has the least effect if you use it with lures that is constantly retrieved (i.e. spoons, in-line spinners, spinnerbaits, etc). For jerkbait and crankbaits, the wire leader weight down the front end of the lure so when you "pause" it, it tends to sink the front end. I have heard good things about heavy flouro leaders but I have never used it myself so i won't comment on it ...
  2. thanks for posting, that map's been around for quite some time and that site has maps for many other lakes as well.

  6. they eat anything haven't heard anyone who uses it regularly as bait though ... interesting to find that it works better than corn out your way, maybe because there are alow of crawfish swimming around your area and they got accustomed to them?

  12. That's a great pic. I think Jamie posted it early last year... if my memory is correct. A 38 incher?
  13. Hey Rizzo I just bought a boat 2 months ago and here's how it worked out for me.... Went to look at the boat, all is good, paid for it and the owner gave me a bill of sale for the boat, trailer and motor (1 each). The owner keeps his own trailer plate and he's supposed to give me half of the trailer ownership document. What I mean by that is the document has two sides and one of the sides is supposed to go to the new owner when it is up for sale. You can keep that trailer plate and use it on another trailer. For the boat/motor, you just give all the documents you have to the new owner and he can take care of everything else on their own. Let me know if you have more questions.
  14. Nice post LBH, I just bought a tinny also this year and I'm thinking of painting it next spring. Let's hope that we'll have someone knowledgable chip in here.
  15. I think if you intend to use this lure for walleye, you will catch anything but walleye lol. That's just the way it is. LOL Amazing looking lure!

  19. i hear ya man. Something like that happened to me yesterday as well. Since i have gotten the boat i haven't had much luck finding the bass, yesterday I've finally hooked into 2 good sized ones and they both got away. One was easily 3-4 lbs as I saw her jump then spit my spinnerbait. Man was I disappointed. O well, we know where they live now.
