  1. I don't think you're the only one Gerritt, I've been thinking marxist leninist. Anything but those 3 grand stander Bull crappers. Wish we had Trump running.
  2. Now you have my vote Drifter , mine doesn't look that colorfull. Your explanation is I'm cold, mine is I'm protecting myself from the sun. Wife says your going by your self. I wonder how many people will have the you no what to walk into the polling station.
  3. I'll be wearing my Balaclava at the polling station, heard it's legal now so know one knows if you voted or not, and for whom. Haven't wore it in the bank yet but I guess it's OK now. And really, is there any honest one you can vote for.
  4. I hope that was a last year photo?
  5. X2 I've said it before, the end is coming. We are in big trouble. The top 3 are grand standing and lying through their teeth. Your going to vote for who's going to screw you. I'm not going to vote for them, but they say I must vote. I have 4 left???
  6. Yes Mike it was a fun derby, I just added a couple pictures.
  7. Was another great turn out. Congrats to all the winners. Waiting for a few more pictures that I will add. Walleye score board The winners 1st. place, $623.00, Neil with a 4.64 Lb. Walleye, 2nd. place, $454.00 Craigger with a 3.13 Lb. 3rd. place, $232.00 Gus 2.94 Lb. Neil with the winning Walleye Craigger's 2nd. Place Walleye Bass score board Bass Winner Was Dave with a 2.5 Lb. Bass, took home a nice Rod & Reel Prize Table, which most people won a nice prize. Thought I'd throw this in, my first walleye I caught, was a little bigger than my bait We ended the day with 3 small fish that were all released.
  8. Thats a great idea Lew for us old young guys. Now if I could get something to pull my boat back into my garage up a grade in my driveway. Thinking of a electric winch mounted in the back of my garage with a remote, old arm is not what it used to be.
  9. Gezz Mike, that's a steal.
  10. That's a good one. That's the only team that scares me.
  11. That's it Steve, give it to him "that Spiel guy " And bring back the Atlantic's, and stock more Drum. Now that my buddy has put me on Mod "Q" I think I hear my phone I have a free ticket for Sat. buddy. and an extra Wig.
  12. 30 MPH, but I don't care as long as it gets me to where the fish are . I think now it's about fuel consumption and quietness, no smoke.
  13. And here I thought this was a CFL Football thread. NFL is not Football, "girls game" small field and they need 4 downs, and there ball looks like crap. And heck, they can't even make good Beer. Go Cats Go. And what was Stala doing chirping at the Cats Bench. He's lucky it was only a slight nudge. Still like to have him back playing for the Cats. Now let's get back to what this forum is about,( FISHING )
  14. If you have the money go Kingfisher or Stanley.
  15. Princecraft beware, I owned 4, You can call me a slow learner. Had a 17.6 Pro Platinum, had it riveted 4 times. till I sold it. You'd be surprised at the workman ship under the floor. Aluminum started to powder corrode and paint blisterd. Boat is OK in calm waters but not a good boat for Great lakes. Bottom is to flat, they pound. Have a Lund now and what a difference in noise and ride, must have more insulation. Just look at the bow of a princecraft, no boat contact to the water till about 4' back. Pretty Boat, "nice hair do"
  16. Alright boat for fishing in the ponds. Livewell in the back, what's with that. Stupid rod locker takes up half the boat where the livewell should be for weight up front. Older Explorer still had the best layout and they discontinued it.. Alright for the designer fisherman ,not the reel type. Spending that amount of money Lund should have a choice of how you want your boat laid out, they would sell more.
  17. Albert I've been using these for years. Knew a few Charter guys and this is all they use now, cheaper and they work great. I have about 30 around now I keep for spares. Bought a bunch from a table at the Ancaster Swap meet. You used to get them in the local tackle shops for about $2.00 No need to spend big money, I still have a few Off-Shore I use, but these work as good. Use them Salmon and Walleye fishin. They came with a curtain ring I through away and made my own hook up swivel with split ring and big snap. Just watch how far back you put your line. Load your rod a little lighter in you rod holder, you could be putting too much load on your releases.
  18. Bay City all the way, Doug knows his stuff.
  19. That's technology for you, Free trade, companies closing, self check outs and no jobs makes for more thieves. We now have 2 bad people, the one that stole it and the one that buys it and sits in your boat fishing with your stuff, now that is a double piss off . I know your feeling, had a brand new truck stole form me with only a 1000 miles on it and I felt like I got raped, even worse.
  20. Catching those Walleye that deep, they blow up coming to the surface. I've had Perch fight better on light tackle. I think I'm heading to Hastings Sat. So far the wind looks better for that day.
  21. Buddy and myself fished Maitland yesterday. Was a little rough going out to 80 FOW. marked very little but the fish were there. What marks we got were on bottom so set up 2 rods one on each rigger down 70' with a home made worm harness. Very few people out. After about one hour, first fish on, marked that spot and trolled back and forth on it. Was slow till the lake calmed down, we caught our limit plus half dozen Silvers. 2 rods using braid and a fluoro leader with worm harness back 50' on the ball down 70'. Speed was mixed because of wave and direction 1.5 to 2.5. 2 rods we used one with Power Pro and other with Sufix 832. Worm harness that did the damage.
  22. Hey now thats a nice table. Gives me an idea. Garage door into rec room, back boat into rec room, sit in boat watching game on the big screen, get tackle in boat ready for next fishin venture. Wife says, I have a problem , I said to wife, yes, can't get on water today, too rough.
  23. Don't worry Johnny, I'll come and get you, but we'll have to fish on the way in, can't be wasting some good fishing time The charge, sitting down with a cold one talking fishing
  24. Thats why I like the Slick loaders, my truck stays out of the water.
  25. Why couldn't they put the art thing out in some farm field.
