  1. Great report and pictures Bunk, thanks for taking the time to post a great trip. That 102 Lb. Lake Trout was in the Toronto museum, I remember as a kid on a class trip seeing that fish mounted.
  2. Was someone trying to steal it and you disturb them in the trying???
  3. Congrats Regan. Italo will be doing a seminar at the Association Sportsman club Monday night here in Hamilton if anyone is interested..
  4. Seafoam was the mechanic that fixed my 4 wheeler.
  5. Sorry to hear the bad news Lew, but I'm sure the good news will be the last of that horrible "C" word. You have my thoughts Lew.

  7. Sorry for your loss Matt, you have my condolences. I know how you feel when I lost my dad.
  8. Even if you don't catch anything, you get the feel of a drown Walleye.
  9. Saw that many times John at 50 Pt, guy took his winch strap off before he got his boat to the water and he had a roller trailer, boat ended up on the ramp. Saw so many times, guys have their trailer to far in the water to load and have problems. If a guy has to take his shoes off, he's doing something wrong. I'd like to see him launching in Dec. My homemade slick loaders work great if you install them right. Stainless bolts counter sunk with locking nuts. I was selling them on Kijiji.
  10. Or you could do this and not worry about rot. carpet holds water then rots the wood.
  11. I've Caught Sheephead that gave a better fight And I'm a Herring Choker . Carp guys, what you think?
  12. You could try Kirk Kove Cottages John. Thats where we go on our annual fishing trip every year. The lake is Big Gull. Owners Jim & Claire are nice people. http://www.kirkkovecottages.com/ That was us a few years back, Few in the picture are not with us anymore, I'm sure they look down on us http://www.kirkkovecottages.com/galleries/guests.html sixth picture from the end of the slide show.
  13. Yes your right Phil, I still remember the good old days, it's sad, times will never be the same. I hope you can get out of there and enjoy a pension. Was at the meeting the other day and the old guys are worried about 2015. Doesn't happen to often but it gets crazy when you get a double header.
  14. Looks great bro, my luck I'd get a leg cramp. Be a great thrill hooking into a Laker or Whitie.
  15. You got that right Lew, sometimes I think I should have stayed working
  16. Thanks Johnny, Just got a call about Mohawk, I promised I'd take a guy out for the day Walleye fishing and a few Perch. I think it will be Sunday or Monday. 21. J&J Marine Services 905 768 9188. 4768 HWY 6 South Hagersville Ont. http://www.jandjmarine.com But thats near me
  22. #1 While the motor is running and warmed up, tap the Power Pak lightly with the handle end of a screwdriver. If the motor flutters, Power Pak. #2 Since Ethanol gas, Ethanol has caused deteriorating of internal parts and certain hoses, thus clogging carbs. Just a tip.
  23. If your trolling for Walleye on Erie it's more a meat fishery than a fish fighting battle. You may get a couple head shakes near the boat. You get a better fight winching your boat on the trailer. The smaller Walleye are better eaters, the larger are ok if you cut them up in small pieces, very watery if you cook a whole filet. Perch, Bass and Sheephead give a better fight. Fishing by your self or one other is the way to go, rod in hand with a deep diver. You get a hit, stopping the boat gives you a better fight.
  24. George Jones and the Stomp should sound good with a plate of fried Perch in one hand and a Brew in the other. Life don't get any better.
