  1. I had the same problem John, I call Humminbird and they sent me the rubber plug. The plug was still a little lose so I use a little Silicone sealer to seal and tighten it up. Problem solved. Were you been bud, you've been quiet.
  2. Wait for this, better than any fishing show. You want deals, this is the place.
  3. Most sot after fresh water game fish. Catching Ontario's record Yellow Perch.
  4. Have to check that out 68 for a little Buddy, Cheapest I've seen was 99 Thanks for the heads up, mines getting pretty banged up.

  6. It's a wonder they still make 2 strokes, try reselling.
  7. They kicked the veterans out of their stores for selling Poppies. Target can kiss my
  8. Chances it's not your blades, it's your frame the blades are fasten to. Take the blades off and put the frame part that the blade is screwed to in a vise and give it a bend towards the angle it's factory bent. Put the blades back on and you should be good to go. The frame gets bent over time, that's why after you shim your blades it works for awhile then nada. Mora augers are known for that. You have nothing to lose. New blades are almost half the price of a new auger. It worked on my old Mora, cuts like new and my blades are not super sharp.
  9. All I have to say Metal or plastic. Only one choice here
  10. St. Williams Monday or Tuesday. Got to stay away from those weekends.
  11. Thanks for posting a very informative fly-in Mike. Get job Mike on the post, everything works my end. I keep saying one of these days

  14. Thanks for sharing Bro Very touching.
  15. Same to you Lew and every Board member. May the New Year bring lots of lucky & safe days on the water.
  16. Thanks for the reply Larry. I've tried a few times lucubrating with light machine oil, 3in1 electric motor oil. Next time I may as you say wash, dry, and no oil. But just the thought of no oil makes me think it will wear out, but I'll give it a try.
  17. After reading all the do's and don'ts and extra this and that. I think I'll buy here.
  18. I've used some cheaper models and liked them better than some more expensive. I thinks it's all preference. My only peeve is the instant anti reverse in the cold weather (icefishin) quits working. I don't think the fish knows with a hook in his Lip
  19. Lets teach him and not go to his funeral. And we even had a nice cold glass of beer waiting for him and 2 lbs. of his favorite wings. We couldn't see that go to waste, so I hope he forgives us for drinking his beer and eating his wings. Kinda made me feel guilty
  20. Thanks Bruce, it was nice talking to your wife.Say Merry Christmas to her, missed her leaving when I went to the washroom. Shame we couldn't get more people to come out, I guess close to Christmas and we all live miles apart. Plus the drinking and driving has put a stop to allot of functions. Thanks Kelvin for dropping Chris and myself off at my place, we had quite a filtered try again please chat at my place. Rest in peace Johnny, must have got snowed in or the sound of the waves put you to sleep. , What happened bud? Even Albert left early Still nice to see everyone.
  21. I'll be there early to get warmed up
  22. Great report guys. Kinda reminds me years ago snowmobiling into the park for Specks.
  23. I change mine twice a year and 5W30 Quackerstate is cheap, allot cheaper than good 2 stroke oil. Marina told me change the filter every secound change.
  24. A new 1 man Clam would be nice, a little easier on the heart than my Guide 2 man. Plus some luckier holes than I made last year
  25. I have a 50 HP Honda tiller and if I had a choice I'd change it out for a 50HP Merc (Tohatsu) 4 stroke, Way quieter. Haven't sat beside a Yamy to compare but I'm sure they are quieter, I may even consider a Yamy as my next motor. You have to let a 4 stroke warm up a little longer than a 2, They are a little gutless on bottom end but make up in not having to buy oil for mix and to suffer the fumes. I'd jump up 10 HP on a 4 stroke if your running a 2 stroke. Just my opinion.
