Red meat is bad for you....much worse then any fish you might eat out of Canadian waters....so what's it going to be today....steak, burgers, or how about a nice thick pork chop...

HUGE Crappies....HUGE.......nice going..... BTW they are not spawning "yet" they are on their pre-spawn FEEDING mode when they are bunched up like that....temps in the low to mid 60's is when crappie spawn.

Has anyone ever tried to splice in a new transducer to the old cable....I would think you could do it in a spot that is protected from the elements...a little solder and some heat shrink wrap and it would be as good as new.

Then just eat the fish from Lake Ontario....

Glad to hear you dad is doing a little better....you're a good son.... If at all possible, get him to Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY...they are the best around when it come to heart problems....I speak from experience....he is NOT that old....he has another 10-20 years to go...at least...

WHY would any fishermen buy fish....... They are free at every stream, river and lake in your area.....and much fresher then the store bought crap....

I don't remember if I mention this or not.....back in late March I fished lake Erie for perch.....we were at about 1.5 away (east) from the pack of boats that were directly off Sturgeon Point.....we were anchored and another boat started to come in close to us....even before this happened we kept hearing a loud noise from the Canadian shore......as the other fishing boat was cruising around very close to us I looked behind us and could see a boat with something on the top of it closing VERY fast....I figured the U.S.A. Coast Guard.....I YELLED to the other boat to drop anchor and if they have to, put on PFD's......(before May 1st the new law requires this)....they did and as their boat settled in the Coast Guard went right on by us to check them out.......I said to my fishing partner "were next".....but after close to 30 minutes and everything was OK with other boat....the Coast Guard left and headed back to Buffalo....they had (3) two hundred horse outboards on that puppy.....that is what we heard from a distance.......As they pulled away I thought, that doesn't make sense...we are about 18 mile from Buffalo and there is about 30 boats less then 2 miles away and can be easily seen......but then as they were about 1/2 mile away, I looked at my watch...it was exactly NOON...lunch time I would guess... So there goes your government agencies.....more waste then results I thought AGAIN... BTW the other guys thanked us for the warning as they did not have any PFD on....... Bob

I have found the dual purpose batteries make GREAT main engine starting batteries (my outboard is only 50hp) and they run EVERYTHING from VHF radio, 2 LMS 520C graphs, etc.....everything EXCEPT my trolling motor...the last 1 lasted 9+ years......but I do have a onboard dual charger that is ALWAYS plugged in when the boat in not fishing or being trailered.
