I'm looking for a park to camp in local to Hamilton
Hooked replied to banger's topic in General Discussion
50 Point has camping there, you got the pond, fishing kinda sucks, but the lake is a better choice this time of year, tons of rock bass and probability of trout/salmon, nice facilities as well. I haven't been to Chippewa Creek Campground this late in the year, so I don't know how the fishing is, but they have a pond with some nice sized LM and aton o sunfish, plus you got the creek to fish as well, its just outside of Smithville. Good luck in your choice. -
Nice job! That one definately looked beatup, but hey, as long as they fight well.
-
Nice going Fidel! What you said is something I will have to keep in mind when I go the pier, even after guys are leaving and saying "not much doin" , I will look past that and think of this post.....and probably still catch nothing, but hey, I'll keep pluggin away. Again, nice going.

Hey Cliff, whats the real estate like in your area? Cuz I think I need to move closer to you so I can get to yer sweet fishing spots! WTG, now ordained, King Cliff.

FREAK-O-NATURE! That is one huge Brown, wow! Seems redundant, but nice going.....again.

Heard the fishing has slowed down big time, but if I were you, I would check out Big Bay. I know they were hitting alot there in August, so I guess Trenton would be my pick. Good luck.

CONGRATS!! Good to hear all is well. It'll be just a matter of time before he's casting a Black Fury!

Remember, its important to drive your car for a good 20 minutes, preferably some type of hiway driving, before taking it to get tested. Better chance of it passing then.

Don't know anything about the lake, but that looks like BPSMAN in the pic.

I can't believe it, I ordered television through Cogeco and asked for the Theme Pack with WFN, wouldn't ya know it, its not available here!! Its not like I live in the boonys, btw, I live in Stoney Creek. I recall someone having this issue before, think it was TJ, did you end up getting it? I just want to find a way to persuade Cogeco to make it available, any ideas?

Nice going, you definately got a trooper on yer hands there.

Now that sounded like an adventure!! Sucks to have a slow day and only catch 37 fish, haha. Great report, and I think its time to get a new trailer. Besides that Mexican urine Corona, surely you guys must of had some real Canadian manly beer eh? How long you guys been doin this trip?

I'm in Stoney Creek too, and was sitting outside with my son tonight, around 9:45 and we could see the sky lighting up east of us. Figured something was coming, man, did it hit fast and hard. Funny thing is, just before it really picked up, smelt a wicked smell, much like a garbage dump or something, strange, then went away when the storm hit. Had to run outside to get my backup patio chairs too, they were halfway down my driveway.

Damn, why do I, or anyone pay taxes then??

Well Lew, you are a class act and you've had alot of losses in these recent years. Good to see someone like Joey come by and brighten your life with a thoughtful gift.

Your best bet is Bayfront Park, just off Bay street, or hit Lasalle Park in Burlington. Then theres always 50 Pt Conservation Area, but its pretty tough fishing there.

That my friend was an awesome report!! That looked like some fishing I could get use too. Good stuff Ric, and yer pad looks pretty sweeet too! -
Thanks Dan. I am fortunate enough to work at a place that started me at 3 wks. Actually, one year I got almost 6 wks paid off, but I wasn't complaining, ....now I got 4, been there 8 years. Let me tell you, Italy is the place to be, naps are normal and the day doesn't start till 10 or 11 pm, now thats life.

Funny you mention that, cuz I'm gonna be cooking some up in about an hour, another funny thing is, I'm going to be using Gerritts recipe, which he just posted the link too, which is awesome. Thx Gerritt Another recipe my dad was telling me about was to spread some Presidents Choice seafood spice on the fish, let it marinade in some white wine for a few hours, then either cook them up on a pan in the marinade or use oil. I have tried this recipe on salmon, which turns out awesome, haven't tried it on walleye though.

Suppose to warmup drastically tomorrow and the following days to come, so hopefully for you the fishing will get back to normal. However, I find this time of year the fishing tends to naturally slow down for walleye, maybe its just me? And I can't believe you would defame Leonidas that way......actually, I howl everytime I see yer sig, haha. I think that was from Electric Boogaloo movie. Good ol break dancin days. Good luck Jeff.

Having trouble with viewing the site properly lately?

At work we use Trend Micro Corporate Edition, unfortunately, or fortunately, depending how you look at it, it cannot be disabled. I'll just keep using Firefox until they tell me to stop using it. You see, my department is going on a rampage when it comes to security now, especially since Firefox can bypass our proxy server. -
Now that was a super report!

Computer problem need major help I think (NF)
Hooked replied to Handlebarz's topic in General Discussion
FYI, there is a computer section here. Its always tough to explain to people, but the easiest way is to explore your D drive is to go into My Computer and right click on your D drive and select explore, that will take you into Windows Explorer. Start deleting or backing up pics, docs, movies..... then emptying it out of your trash can. BTW, your D drive is not your primary drive, so it does not 'control your pc', perhaps some games\apps if they are installed on it though. If you are not pc savy, you may want to get someone who is, cuz you can start deleting some apps\games that were installed on your D drive, then thats not that good. If you don't have anyone to do that, I don't mind remote controlling yer pc via MSN to do that sometime, thats if you got hi-speed. Don't know how big yer drive is, but if its small, you will come across this same issue time and time again. Good luck.
