  1. I was looking at the MDX's as well for a while as they have a third row of seating... in the end they were to pricey for me as I could get a WAY newer Durango for the same amount of money... but I did read a lot of negative reviews about the MDX.... of course there's always more negative reviews online than positive ones so you have to take it for what it is. Good luck with the search - choosing a vehicle is always a tough one. Also, my Dad had a early to mid 90's 4runner when I was a kid and that thing was indestructible - a solid reliable SUV back then. Personally I'd go with the Xterra or the 4Runner if I had a choice. They're work horses...
  2. I had a 2000 nissan Xterra and LOVED it. It's now my sister-in-law's truck and going strong with near 300,000 KM's on it. I served me well the 3 years or so that I owned it. The only reason we got rid of it was because we needed something that could fit 3 car seats for the kids. I thought it was a little stiff on gas....until I started driving my 5.7L Hemi Dodge Durango... lol
  3. if we could swear on here Simon I'd call you an SO VERY JEALOUS man! Beautiful location.. I love it!
  4. lol say what you will about kissing frogs - Dave caught some pretty good fish that day after kissing that bull frog so if it worked for him.....

  18. Hey buddy - the guys who were shore fishing right beside us were using dew worms and only managed 1 perch and a handful of gobies in something like 6 hours.... I showed up and had a follower come right to shore on my first cast! for me in the past ( early season) I've gotten my bows trolling small stick type crank baits far far behind the boat along shore and when I cast jerk baits it's been %100 browns. Also hooked some incidental bows and browns on pink trout worms while bluegill and crappie fishing in the back bays. Cheers, Ryan
  19. Haha thanks guys! Haha thanks guys! Haha thanks guys! Haha thanks guys! Oops! It was awesome to get out with my dad even if it was just for a few minutes! He had to help me summerize my lawn tractor, boat motor and so on or we would have fished longer...He's coming back to fish the bass opener derby with me which I'm really looking forward to as I haven't gone bass fishing with him in a while! Now the family is about to head back to Sudbury and leave me with 3 tired kids and a wife with a bad case of the flu! FYI - not very many ppl fish jerkbaits for resident brownies but I'm here to tell you they work, and the fish go ballistic when you hook'em! Lots of fun! Thanks and have a great week! Ryan
