Wow, never seen a perch anywhere near that size before!!!

After 4 pages, someone finally hit the nail on the head:

Great post right there and some beauty trout!!! Fishing buddies are great friends for life no matter how far away they live. Over the past 2 years, I lost my 2 best fishing buddies to the east coast. No matter how far apart we are, we'll make sure to go on a fishing trip at least once a year.

I agree with Rich. For walleye fishing, I have all kinds of expensive crank baits that work well but the cheaper lures always outperform 8-15$ lures. Very cheap jigs with inexpensive plastics often yield 20+ walleyes in a few hours of fishing. For brook trout fishing, I have all kinds of expensive crank baits, spinners, spoons, worm harnesses... This year, I caught 6 brookies over 3 pounds (including a 6 pounder) using a 3 dollar flashing spoon and a worm.

I only got one PB this year but it was the one that I've been chasing all my life. 23 inch, 6 pound brook trout.

Crazy. What a fat PIG!!!

My uncle from Sudbury is a trapper and he was anchored in front of a beaver house, jigging a large minnow while waiting for Mr. beaver to come out. All of a sudden, his line bends in half as if he had been drifting and was snagged on bottom. He set the hook and brought to the surface what he thought was a huge log. To his marvel, a giant walleye came to the surface and he quickly net it. It turned out to be the biggest walleye he had ever caught at a whopping 14 pounds!!!

Luongo is done like dinner so it would make perfect sense for the Laffs to trade for him. Hey Burkie, got another brutal trade left in ya? I think so!!!
