  1. Can't believe it's already been a year, I'm in.
  2. They are sunfish, you should know that Probably a good sized permit or striper on the fly for me right now, or possibly an Atlantic off of one of the river Spey, Dee, or Tweed on a full dress salmon fly.
  3. Got through my head, 200 yrds of running line then another 200 of backing out west swinging for salmon.
  4. LOL, maybe. It was a 36" UL frabill. But those were small northern lakers on a set line. I'm planning on getting a 42" M (more like MH) st croix this year...
  5. Well I can teach you to fly fish too Post the results when you get out there! Just remember the current will play with any sonar and baits.
  6. Happy birthday Lew! Hope you had a good one!
  7. Yup this one is the same, completely legal. Might get you to pick one up for me B
  8. You got it! No swivel for me, main to leader with a blood knot then to the hook, no need for anything more!
  9. Not a question about the swivel but the knots, no matter how good you are at tying you'll mess one up eventually, your rig then has five knots, seems a lot simpler to wallis if you ask me. Congrats Brian!
  10. Another great set of stuff from Luremaking.com in today!

  11. Thanks for the help guys, I ended up settling and am going with the standard jig head/bead/pin method.
  12. Thanks, I get a little concerned ordering from the states. I need these things within about 3 days at most, anyone have an idea of what size brass bead equals 1/100oz?
  13. I forgot to mention, they have to be within the GTA or nearby with fast and inexpensive shipping (someone like Luremaking.com).
  14. The title pretty much explains it, I need fly jigs in 1/100oz (in bulk preferably) for a decent price. The only place around here I know sells them is BPS but I don't like to buy anything there and it's too expensive anyways. I'm also looking for 5/32" gold brass tying beads in bulk packs. Thanks, Chris
  15. If it counts we once found a dead one in Crotch, could get really close to that one. Nice pic WSB!
  16. Funny how all of our hats turned the same pale orange colour, eh?
  17. Sweet catch! Don't ya love a good hat?
  18. Got out in the tube for some big bass on the fly today, was not disappointed!
