  2. Seems half the time online I'm just posting to this thread but oh well, here's another.
  3. I'm going to be bringing a bunch of fly rods too, if anyone wants a casting or tying lesson I'm more happy to help and there are some truly amazing casters in the club too.
  4. Anyone here familiar with the Uxbridge area (or better yet lives there)?

Got it all sorted out, thanks guys!

  5. Good to hear you're ok! If you plan to be out there get some studs or a pair of strap on cleats, I got a pair of icers at Lee Valley a week ago and they've already saved me from a few falls.
  6. Not sure why you guys wouldn't be able to post to the team thread but you need to PM it to Pete either way.
  7. Refresh, refresh, refresh Not surprising, it IS the best site around!

  10. Something with black and white if he truly wants an "all around" unit.
  11. If anyone wants to meet up for some perch action on Simcoe let me know, preferably south of Barrie where there's a little less snow...
  12. Hopefully I'll find some fresh ice without much snow this sunday, perch here I come!
  13. Yup! We couldn't open the fish's yap up so that was his solution!
  14. Posting this on behalf of Gary and Kim, they seem very enthusiastic about the board and I hope to hear more from them! -Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey there fellow fishing fanatics ! Just a short note from us here at Thunderstock Outfitters … If you’re looking for a secluded, quiet spot in the wilderness of NE Ontario to do some great remote fishing … check us out at www.thunderstockoutfitters.com Or visit us at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show – February 5 – 8 … please stop and say HI ! Looking forward to meeting and chatting with many fishermen and women in the near future ! Gary & Kim
  15. Jeremy84 and I decided that we would try out Couch yesterday. Lots of slush up there, not easy pulling a big otter! We fished in 10fow with my simcoe scud, buskshots, plastics and minnows when we needed to. I think we probably iced 50-60 fish, only got a handful worth keeping but it was a good way to kick off the season!
  16. Great little shop for sure! Does anyone know what his stock of Freedom jigs is like?
