Fish spines are pretty popular, but very expensive, mine is bigger anyways ;)

  3. Might want to try moving more often. If using a hut drill until you find fish then pitch it.
  4. I'll do it if you let me know what's involved. Who knows, maybe we can get this thing going by the beginning of February this year!
  5. I just assumed we were talking steelhead
  6. I'll come! Talk to Barefoot, he should be able to help you.
  7. End of Hadden Rd, takes you straight out to virginia. Worms will work but minnows, simcoe bugs and marabou jigs are best IMO.
  8. See you guys tonight, maybe I'll bring some perch and ask if the chef can fry them up for us
  9. And better than you will find in any store too.
  10. Do it! Take the bone out, borax it, freeze it, then use it to make a couple bucktails
  11. Squirrel tail. Very nice squirrel tail I may add.

  13. 1. Absolutely must catch a laker and whitie before we thaw out. 2. Find my way into a good algonquin trout lake this may. 3. Catch my first pike over 40"
  14. Tough one, I think it would be Steven Wright, Louis Black, George Carlin (if he was still around), Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Steve Martin, or Richard Dawkins. And of course anyone on this board.
  15. Good to hear the rod worked well! I just picked up a trion 25x from BPS and like how it feels, plan on testing it this weekend.
  16. Just realized you're in Hamilton, you know there is a sail in Burlington right?
  17. Grab a pair of split ring pliers, used to hate switching hooks but it's pretty quick and painless now. I think you can get them for about $5 at luremaking.com.
  18. Great tip! I have a few hooks I could try using that for, did you take hooks off lures or just put the whole thing in?
