  1. I assume you were fishing in Cache Bay.......... If it was cache bay guys it's NOT just a fishing story.. RFS
  2. SEAFOAM!! or get a Goat... you'll have fertilizer the grass will be cut and the kids will have a pet. RFS
  3. Rotate the lower unit 180* it reverses the polarity ...this will make it go in the right direction... I've read up on it and it seems to be a common problem........ I assume that the motor was taken apart and not put back together the right way. RFS
  4. Is your prop on backwards????............if not put it on backwards......... I have no Idea I've never heard of this happening Red on Red Black on Black? RFS
  5. Tons, Tons, Tons,........... they're all over the North Shore of Nipissing right now....just getting off spawn and on their way out back to deep water.... you can catch them all you want at the Government Dock in Sturgeon and all down the Sturgeon River... buckets full. I've caught them in the winter while fishing deeper 40+ feet ... and can often be caught in the Walleye holes come fall... Actually you should be able to get them in The Little Sturgeon River and Laronde Creek. Randy From Sturgeon
  6. dupont 810 and 815r corlar self etching primer.... the price is a little steep you can pick that up for about 85$ I sell it everyday...... depending on how much aluminum you have to paint I suggest buy it in a can about 12$ per spray bomb 1 can goes a long way...... the reason for this primer is to give a BASE for the regular primer and paint to stick to... you don't need 2 coats of the stuff. RFS
  7. Worth the ride.... follow the north shore to Wig- Wam narrows..... and your're there better fishing there that in the West Arm you may follow the back channels into the French ... bring a spare gas can.. stop in @ Sandy Island ... I'm familiar with Dawn's place and it's worth the visit. Randy from Sturgeon Falls
  8. got a IPS error for the first 5 attempts ...seems fine now was very slow loading though. RFS
  9. I wanna go Muskie Fishin' too...getting the itch. Here's one my buddy " curlrap " caught on Monday while practicing for the Big Cache Bay Pike Tournament on Saturday the 23rd of May on Lake Nipissing....very very muddy water but a very very nice 52" about 38 lbs .
  10. It might sound stupid but... I did this myself today.... My hose was on backwards.. first time in 25 yrs or so.
  11. True enough Roy.... but... your neighbor still got an AWESOME deal..
  12. RAPALA!!!!!!!! Night Walleye EAT Rapala..... no matter how deep Rapala has an option for you.. My all time BEST night time Walleye color is blue and silver original floating model I add a few split -shot depending on the depth. RFS
  13. ROY!!! You ripped yourself off and gave your neighbor an AWESOME deal...do you have anything else for sale?
  14. Here it is...
  15. I actually do have flames on the hull I'm going to take a picture right now.... I'LL BE BACK!!
  16. Look again.... here's what I've got and I love it!!!
  17. The trade in value of my 1998 30 Evinrude T/ss.. is 1100.00$ Kijiji has one for 1400.00 and another for 1300.00 to give you an idea expect to pay somewhere around those prices. Try to find the golden engine instead ' actually it's silver ' 1993- 1995 Yamaha 30/ 3 cylinder they're bulletproof ...lighter than the comparable 25-30 and much much faster... I've been looking for that outboard now for 10 yrs. Good Luck... RFS
  18. I like to use a Williams Wabler... I must throw those all year.... multiple colors I use the #50 & #60 sizes. They are nice and light and can stay above the weeds...Johnson's Silver Minnow tipped with a tail... Heavy spoons tend to sink and catch a lot of weeds unless reeled fast no matter how they're rigged. As for the Walleye , if you fish at the Veuve River or along Oak Island , Pickerel Rock and or the Sturgeon River mouth. Here it is... the White Bass "Silver Bass" are coming in right now... If you use minnows " Shiners "expect a few empty bags by the end of the day .. but mostly on "Silvers" To increase the chance of the Walleye a Dew Worm on a Jig/trailer... or a Dace Minnow '' Silvers" seem to not like these presentations as much. Silvers are great fighters but if you're after Gold the Silver seems to get in the way. RFS
  19. The water is 2 feet high in Cache Bay right now...that brings the total depth to about 7 feet at best.. Walleye can be had by throwing anything that you would use for pike... pike will be everywhere... the mouth of the Veuve River will be vest for the eyes and so will the mouth of the Sturgeon... What kind of boat do you have ?... I'll look out for you ... I will also be on the Bay practicing for the Tourney the following weekend... Look for a red Tracker with OFC stickers and a flame job that will be me.. Spoons for pike are usually very good for pike in the Bay... spinnerbaits as well and Rapalas are great too.. Randy
  20. Which lodge ...and When... I can give you some advice.
  21. NICE SET UP!!! since kickingfrog is already in the front I'd gladly sit in the back!! CONGRATS!!! RFS
  22. See You at Tim Hortons' Lew!!
  23. I have an couple Compre' 6'6" MH.. and find them un co-operative for reeling in a crank bait that require wrist action. I've found that the Berkeley Gorilla Stick 6'6" MH is by far more co-operative that the Compre in the same situation and not to mention 50% less expensive. just my opinion.. good fishing!! RFS
  24. there's ice but is unsafe for travel and fishing looking at roughly 12" of soft slushy stuff... thawed from shore .. with open spots ... RFS
