Not sure who believes that they can manipulate the fish population becasue they have deemed that fish to be a pain. I personally love catching sheephead when I am out. You want to see a kid have a blast?, let him hook into one of these monsters jigging in the detroit river, you think that kid cares what kind of fish is on the end of his rod? Take a kid fishing off a pier, sunfish, 1/4lb perch, or a sheep head......what do you think he wants to catch? The last 2 times out I have caught 7 and 8 different spieces of fish, keeps it fun.

William Spoons are my favorite, easily pull fish out of 12-15' of water with them.

I am Sorry but that is odd, take a pic of te fish if you want, them let him swim. No need for a stringer unless you are eating them.

I think we are all just a little spoiled with our relationship we share with the US. If we bordered Russia or North Korea I bet you would know exactly where the border is or you would learn mighty quick. I fish the detroit river all the time, I know ROUGHLY where the border is and stay clear of it to avoid any issues like this one.

Exactly. We were camping this past weekend and I was explaining this very thing to my son "take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints" I was very proud when I heard him explaining it to his cousin the next day. Besides picking up after the ignorant this is another way we can help.
