It was a total disgrace and it was caught on video and pictures there was also 2 garbage bags full of dead walleyes and for the next day there was dead walleyes all around the shore by the park right near the tourney dock !!!!! It was very hot that day and it was a gong show from the get go !!! Should have been fined a lot more than that and there was a lot more wrong than that a lot of people were really upset about what happened enough said ....

Ya that rescue was amazing I just seen it on the news !!!! Kudos to our military boys for getting him off that crane safe & sound !!!! Amazing for sure !!!!

Thanks for sharing I watch the site everyday and it's amazing about the progession of the ice and snow and same for spring when it starts going out !!!!! Lots of the smaller lakes are very safe now guys are fishing all of the Kawartha lakes and have been for 2 weeks lots of sleds out as well !!! Just be careful and use common sense !!!!! Like the old saying goes "if you don't know,don't go" that simple !!!!!! Tight-lines

Problem is purenewf years ago before the Internet people would actually have to read maps find lakes scout them out do all kinda of homework on the fishing spots and make several trips to find out if fishing was good or if the ice was safe !!!! Lots of work involved !!!! Now people just want all the info and locations and what bait you are using all from their couch so that they don't have to do all the grunt work !!!! They want someone else to do it all for them !!!!! Then the next day they jump in their car and go right to where you just posted about and now they tell a few people who then tell a few more and next thing it's ruined !!!!! It has happened many times and will continue to happen !!!!!! Not too mention the disrespect they bring with them like all their garbage and park wherever blocking people's driveways and climbing fences and not having respect for the resources or private property !!!!! And that's just a few of the reasons if its a big body of water and well known that's a little different but if it's a small lake or pond or small trout creek it will be destroyed in no time ..... Just sayin ....

Like terry said I got BB guns slingshots and even a bow & arrow set !!!!! It was awesome oh ya and I can't forget the lawn darts !!!!! We played cowboys & Indians with real BB guns !!!! Haha and no none of us shot our eye out !!! But man we had cool stuff for sure and yes every bit had a jackknife I got one from my uncle when I was about 11 and it had my name on it and it was a Swiss Army knife !!!! I took that everywhere we were allowed too !!!! There was never any worry about stabbing people or anything things were not like that back then as most boys had one !!!!! And by 13 some of us even got our grandpas .22 rifles !!!! Ahhhh the memories .....

I do feel sorry for the people with disabilities who now may have a difficult job getting to their new super mail box a few blocks away !!!!!!! If they are confines to a wheelchair or something it's gonna be difficult to get there we have a super box at end of our road just for letters but anything bigger and it about 3 miles to the country store to get anything else !!!!!! There will be issues for elderly as well especially in the country and in bad snowy weather !!!!

I'm on this site 99% of the time from my iPhone and don't ever really have any issues sometimes it's hard to transfer an outside link to post it here from a phone but generally very few mobile issues for myself guess I'm lucky as I'm not totally tech savy but I do at least know how to post pics and all that good stuff from my phone ....on my puter at home it's google chrome I use and no issues there either .... So far lol

I'm glad my son is now 23yrs old and even way back then we called them "crooks R us" as their prices and junk they had in the store were outrageous !!!!!!! ..... Not too mention expensive ... Glad I don't have to go through that crap anymore !!!!!! And you guys have just begun it ..... I feel sorry for you

I have run the GE nighthawks in my last few vehicles and have been happy with them and they are better than the originals and all my driving is done at 4am !!!! I think the last ones were the platinum ones as well

caught tons of trout using this method for years !!!!! i would start fishing about 3am and fish till the first few fishermen would show up and start fishing at 6am !!!! its amazing sometimes how active the trout will be just an hour or 2 before daylight !!!!
