  1. OH MY GODDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!! THATS A REAL MONSTER
  2. well i figure its time to breakout my 2006 great salmon derby prize bag. ...and there sure is alot of good ones....my partner and myself won $1,000 bucks and prize bag full of salmon lures, and a tackle box,as well as some walleye spoons and some small spoons for brookies and rainbows..and a nice big lucky strike wide salmon net .this was for our week #2 3rd place finish for a 33.58lb chinook salmon, so i thought i would take a few pics before i put them all in my salmon box,and i will be trying a few tommorow as i am going out on lake ontario in my buddys 32ft thompson out of port darlington....so i hope to have some real nice pics to share tommorow night....till then so here is a few pics cheers

  8. Bonechere park has good fishing for sure, for smallies, and for trout...its a big lake and there are many smaller lakes in the area that have rainbows and brookies, you are only a few miles from alqunquin prov....park as well......i have camped and fished the area ...good luck cheers

  10. Well i did everything i could out there this morning . ...tried spoons, meat rigs, flies, some with spin doctors, some with opti-enticers,[flasers] they just wernt there,i had my fishawk840 thermal probe with me and man is the lake ever cold .at 50ft down the water temp is only 39 degrees, its hard to find the salmons prefered temps when you have a big wind, like we had last week.so thats the key is to keep checking different depths to find the right temps ...all that wind on friday blew all the warm water right down to kingston,as the satellite imagery shows,so the other day we were lucky i guess,so i didnt see any baitfish at all only saw a few small hooks first thing this morn, prob small coho salmon as they can tolarate the colder water better than kings.....so maybe tommorow night after dinner again,so just wanted to follow mup on my post from last night.. ...maybe i jixed myself..lol..lol cheers
  11. Fantastic!!! hey you got a few fish today....at least you got 2 i went out of port darlington and got skunked,.....i tried everything that i was using on sunday, and didnt mark any bait or nothing only a few small hooks when i first started this morning.....there was only a few boats out there and they didnt have anything as of the time i left....was about almost noon....and mostly because it was to dang hot....well good for you, cheers

  16. YES i have had both foot control and hand control....i do prefer the foot controller but art does have a valid point and i know what he means,i suppose its a matter of choice as i have see the big time pro"s use both so....they will both get the job done,so its up to you,and if price is what matters most, then you know what to get....i have a minn-kota 55lb as well so there is pros & cons to both....good-luck in your decision cheers

  22. Well i fish lake ontario in my 16ft lund, and have it all decked out,it depends on weather and experience, mine is a tiller,so there is alot of questions you need to ask, will your wife be going with you,do you want dual console,or a tiller or a pure fishing machine, like other members asked what are you going to pull the boat with, storage, and do you only fish in the summer,or will you need a full top/cover for fishing bad weather,.....well you can see where this is going, figure all that out and we can help you out big time....good-luck cheers
