If the pit is not to deep...i have an idea??????!!!!!!! why dont you try a slip-float...they are very versitile and with a dew worm on a 1/4oz jig head....even a minnow if there is bass there that should get them...if they are not hitting lures....try that its slow,and wont spook them and just about everything that swims will take it for sure. ..just an idea,hope you try it...good-luck give us an update if you figure them out....cheers

Yes and when i made my on-line purchase at cabelas,about 1 month ago i asked them if they were going to give me at the time our dollar was par..even and they said ABSOLUTLY...they had already updated their prices ,so they will give you whatever the dollar closed at for the day. .i was suprised that they were thatfast with the exchange rate...good-luck on your new dvr..for the camera im sure it will work awesome. ...nothing like at the end of the day at home and watching fish porn from the days fishin trip....cool

Well wayne get that top & cover on and set a nice heater inside,and you and lew are ready to go !!!!!! so what day are you heading out to georgian bay wednesday??....i might do a day trip to quinte this week,or shore fish as my back is feeling better....i need to go bad, julie is getting feed-up with me whinning that i havnt gone fishing in almost 2 weeks....

I hope so,but i dont think that the boss is comming to our G2G at quinte,but maybe he can donate some nice things for our tournament or at least send some goodies down with someone to sell !!!! i wonder if he heard that suggestion...oh i might be in trouble????

Well jat,the best thing you can do is to call the area Ministry of natural resources office in what ever area you are planning to fish,and they usually have a stocking list of lakes that are put & take fisheries,as well as lakes that have different or all year round angling. they will tell you about those lakes and some will even tell you how the fishing has been there recently...good-luck

yes kevin l had the option of sending my lures,express post it was more money i think $18 dollars but i didnt ,man you cant lose with them anyway,i sent you a PM ,about theose questions you had about the unit....man its an awesome unit for sure,and our dollar is high so jump all over that like a fat kid on a smartie..LOL..LOL

WORM HARNESSES ROCK !!!!!! always use them myself,and yes those quinte walleyes will gladly take a fat crawler,on a harness,no problem....as well there is a good opoulation of resident walleyes & pike & bass that will readily take a harness.. ..about 5 yrs ago,i almost won a walleye tournament by using a worm harness when nothing else was working....so i use blades that are a size or 2 bigger than normal because of the depths that i need to fish then,and they send out an incredible thumping vibration that calls them in from far away....so now you let the secret out of the bag...i made about 10 just for quinte a few weeks back and a few with glow-in-the-dark blades....oh man i cant wait....cheers & good-luck

Hey kevin about 1 month ago i ordered some lures from cabelas,and i payed for just regular shipping and they sadi anywhere from 1 -3 weeks,maybe 4 and both times i had my package in under 2 weeks. ..but that was just for a small package of lures maybe it depends on what you are ordering...???? i know that they are great to deal with and over the years i have always had great servicce ,and they have awesome service

Well they may be on to something there???/huh....!!!! i was thinking of inventing a glow-in-the-dark scent spray !!!!!! for spraying on live bait & crankbaits!!!!! oh ya,i really think it would work...can anyone loan me a few grand so i can get things rolling....ya i thought so..LOL..LOL..LOL

Hey don dont feel too bad !!! my buds were there all day yesterday...they said lots of boats,bright sun & warm temps...and yes like you said...NO FISH CAUGHT !!!! they never even had a rod go off.they didnt see any other boats catch any either...all the people they talked to said the same no fish....they are there it just wasnt the day that the walleyes wanted to come out and play.. ..oh well keep trying,im heading there real soon too,and i hope it picks up by then...i cant wait for our OFC G2G WEEKEND !!!!! thanks for the fun report oh ya they said they got SUNBURNED AS WELL,IN NOVEMBER..LOL..LOL..LOL

Along the shores of the mighty OTTAWA RIVER... !!!!!!!! somewhere around the pembroke & petawawa area...its just so nice ,including the scenery the people,well and of course the FISHING IS SIMPLY AMAZING.. .the whole ottawa river valley including the east side of alqunqin park.. ..see now im gettin depressed just thinking about it...cause i live in oshawa as my commute would be about 4hrs one-way...LOL..LOL oh well someday soon,when i retire thats where im going to fish out my days....great thread cheers

Hey its not just china.... dont for a minute think that that doesnt go on around here either !!!! in northern ontario it goes on alot more than people think. ..i have had MNR officers tell me that...but most people use the excuss that they are blowing up a beaver dam !!! well they blow up fish all the time...M y old next door nieghbor used to work for the CN railroad.....as a repair crew captain....and he told me way up northern ontario hundreds of miles in the middle of nowhere THEY USED TO DYNAMITE FISH ALL THE TIME!!!!!! they always had fresh fish....imagine that....something to think about isnt it.....dam makes me mad just thinking about it....grrrrrrrr
