I think that they lie !!!!! IT DOES NOT OUTFISH LIVE BAIT !!!! specially when it comes to walleyes,thats my version anyway,as i have tried it lots of times,and still a live crawler will still outfish the gulp dew worm !!! but,i will still be using them,as they do catch fish for sure,now i think the gulp power minnows might have anedge,so i will be fishing with them so i will have feedback later this summer...great thread cheers

Hey dawg you stole me recipe !!!! man i love fish done that way too!!!!!....man im gettin a hungry on with all this talk about breading, egg,flour,milk,garlic,saly & lemon & herb pepper....then into a fry pan with about 1/4inch of hot sunflower oil ....man its soooooo goooood that way !!

As im a multi-species fisherman,i use it all braid,mono,wire,leadcore,steel line,fireline !!!! because for different fish,you need different lines & strengths,but i still love my momo,with almost all of ot being from the trilene family as they have so many kinds the have one kind for at least everyone....so they get my business,except for the other ones i like,vanish transition of course trilene XT,XL sensation,big game,for salmon & trout and the new %100 trilene flourocarbon,i have a few reels already spooled up and ready to go.....and when you have been using the same kinds of line for your whole life its for sure what you feel confident in as well,i think thats a big part of it for me anyway !!!!!!!

Man i sure would like to get up there and fish that island i have been wanting to do it for well over 10yrs.....if only that moey tree in my yard would hurry up and grow and start making those $1,000 bills !!!!!!!!

Well if its legal i guess is ok,and as long as he s not breaking any laws,im just suprised that thats ok,is there a size limit,as there would be no chance of catch & release ??? im still not right with it,im the rod & reel type,not the spearing or netting type !!!!

There is great telescopic rods that come in a case,and are great just for that kind of adventure,he needs,a good quality wind-up flashlight too,as well as calomine lotion for bug bites,and take some mepps spinners,and some assorted sizes of rapalas,and a good pair of polaroid sunglasses,and of course sunscreen...moosbunk and some other members live almost that far north,and go on fishing trips way into the bush for days at a time,and do it pretty regularly,so those guys would know exactly what to bring with him,for life that far north !!! good-luck

I think that the MNR, would have all that info cause they would be the ones enforcing the rules about that,i would think that its in environmentaly sensitive areas,and most would be in algonquin prov. park,but i could be wrong,there might be lots way up north,maybe some other board members might know ???

They just cant stop screwing with water levels, and as usual the damage to wetlands,and sensitive areas goes on,and the government just doesnt give a crap !!!! grrrrrrrr

Thats too funny,well over the years i have even seen fist-fights at boat launches,back in the late 80"s at the bay of quinte deseronto area,when you had to wait 4hrs to launch it was something else i tell ya,ive even seen guys pushing their 16ft boat off the trailer and acroos the park to the waters edge to get their boat in the water man its crazy out there sometimes,yes and ive seen guys jackknife their trailers and did it so bad they got stuck !!!!!....just hang out at the port perry boat launch in town for an afternoon on a saturday in july !!! its better than any comedy !!!! cheers
