Todays tournament was the canada_us. walleye tournament its one of the oldest in canada and has been going i think for close to 40yrs,it alternates lakes every year between sturgeon & pidgeon lakes,and some of the top anglers in the usa & canada have fished it in the past,when i was a kid my grandparents always took me to the weigh ins,and to see all the newest boats & eqiptment,it was my dream to be a tournament walleye fisherman back then !!!!!...well i hope that there was some decent fish weighed in,as at least the weather was perfect !!!! cheers

I think the lampreys are increasing in numbers,myself and other salmon fishermen have all noticed an increase in fish with new or old lamprey marks on them in the last few years,man i wish they could killl them all !!!!!

Sounds like a good time had by all !!!!. .and dont fret about the fishing,it wasnt that good at the bay of quinte either,and at least you guys did get a few pike to keep it interesting !!,and well the weather sure sucked!!!!!!. ..and the way i see it it will only get better,and you did have a nice warm cottage to go to,with your family....thanks for the report cheers

Thats a great big monster no doubt !!!!...but,like glen said thats not angling ,can you imagine catching that fish on a rod & reel !!!!...the fight would be amaing and probly last a whole day or so ???. ..but shooting it with an arrow,and just hand balming it in isnt angling thats for sure,....oh well its still a huge carp thats for sure

Well we did go camping all weekend and it was miserable,but thanks to good freinds and lots of laughs it was bearable,and the fishing sucked too !!!! oh well it was still worth it anyway,it beats sitting at home thats for sure,and we did manage to have a few fillets of walleye to eat,so that was great,but hey you know its gonna rain on the may24,it always happens.....cheers

Well it sure looks nice but,if dont mind using all that gas,but it would sure make a great bass tourney boat !!!!!...its sure alot of H.P for tubing & boarding,but whatever suits you,good-luck cheers
