We're on a well here, so the bottle water just tastes better, and i don 't have to worry about what is in my well water. It gets UV treatment, but that's all. The water always tests fine. The biggest reason we use the bottled water, is we have a water cooler with the hot water tap. So, when I want a cup of tea, its there and ready, rather than wait for water to boil. Yeah, I'm lazy.......so what!! S.

We use the big bottles here Cliff. We refill them (3) for $3 at the grocery store once a week. We only use the well water for washing. S.

scugog is only 30 mins from the shwa.......that's where I'd go! S.

I'm doin good George! You won't even know your towing anything that size with the new dodge! Major improvement over the old dakota!!! Your gonna love it! The only trucks I've NEVER had any issues with, were dodge. S.

Don't feel bad, this weather can't help. I haven't even drilled a hole yet.......I see no reason to go out in this cold and try for them, when I know they're going to be shut down. I'm going to wait until we get a break, then pound them!! S.

I tend to agree Joey, but the area around Bewdley has been frozen for almost a month now, and there isn't much snow around here either. I can only assume people will stay away from current areas/narrows, but only time will tell. I wouldn't think twice about driving out of Bewdley today though.........but that's just me S.

I dunno if I'd be driving out there yet.......and don't forget, your talking about the residents of Bewdley here......hahaha...... Did you stop in BJ's? Do they have bait in there yet? I'm going to check it out this week after work one night. Maybe I'll drive out S.

I caught a pike with my lure in its mouth. I'd broke off on the same fish 3 days earlier. It hit the exact same lure again though, and I got my first one back!! I've also broke off a jig on a walleye, only to re-tie, drop my new one back in, and catch that same fish that just broke me off, with my jig still in its yap! And they say fish are smart.........HAH!! S.

I've caught whities with cigarette butts in thier bellies.

The fish are in there, you just have to think outside the box and find them. The lake is always changing, and fish can swim!! S.

My motto is go big or go home. I don't drill holes less than 8". Those small holes are a PITA IMO. They freeze up too fast, and you can't even fit your ice scoop in them!! I don't know why you guys think its so hard to drill a hole......i have a harder time getting out of bed in the morning Its not uncommon for me to drill 30-40 holes by hand in a days fishing......no big deal!!! S.

Leave the sled at home. There is next to no snow out there, just patches here and there. ReTodd, nobody has ever ice fished out of Bewdley, so your guess is as good as mine. I catch them in the spring along the north shore though.....call BJ's Bait and Tackle, they might be able to help you out. They will also have bait and licenses for opening day. S.

I haven't measured it myself, but some locals are telling me 6-8" around Bewdley. Stay away from any rivers, or narrows and you'll be fine. Should be plenty safe for opener. S.
