For those who fish with me know that my dog is my best fishing partner, yeap she is a water Rat just loves the water and when its slow I toss her gently over the side and she swim's until she is tired then comes back to the side for a pickup.. She will then stand at the side waiting to go again.. These are the pics from last year out on the Bog with Muskie Bill and John. We were fishing a weed bed when my dog figured land.. over she went.. yes she need saving. Once back on board she looked over the side and jumped again.. this time she stayed put when I could just pick her up. Almost all dogs can swim, its like human's panic kills.

Just came across the Radio.. someone tried to drive across Lake Simcoe and went through.. !!!! More to come..

LOL, Yeap, thats pretty much it.. the fish that got away and as it ran through the schools of perch it yelled RUN, RUN for your Lives there fishermen are over there.. Now what you could have done different. Your rod was held at approx 44.5 degrees if you have played a little say 45 degree you might have had a chance.. Now your drag issue, if you had only done half a click instead of a full click of the drag you would have got it for sure.. Got too look at the bright side, we used "YOUR" auger and the fish was at least 10lb's or more so it the hole was clearly too small to bring up that big of a fish we would have had to cut the line.. Great fishing with you again, Come April we will be back with the boat for revenge!!! ~ JAWS is in there with your hook I am sure we can find him

When getting ready for the upcoming fishing season and then getting giddy when the BPS flyer came out my wife asked me a simple question... What could you possibly still buy that you don't already have? This leads me to a wierd question. How much is too much is there a point? Yeap, I could always upgrade stuff, or buy more spinners, plastics, hooks etc, rods, reels etc. What would you buy if you could not upgrade excisting stuff or add more baits?

I keep enough to feed my family for 2 meals,. If I have some still in the freezer let the rest go. Guess it really depends on how many I would catch in a outing.. These are my target fish of choice but I only keep small ones and once I have some in the freezer for when I want a fish meal the rest go over the side.. great now you got me thinking about shore lunches..... BRING ON THE SPRING

I wish my wife would come out now and again, It would give me a break from teaching the dog how to drive. The only problem with my wife is she gets sea sick in red lobster and has the patiance of a chipmunk. Good thing she does not read the fishing board.. if she did the dog really might have to drive

Great Report, Good to see you going out again, braver than me How did the new auger go? I have had a perch, in a bucket (no water) got it home put them in some water to clean them prior to the filit and the little dudes started swimming... Perch cleaning is really easy you just need them to all be 13" :)

I would pay the money twice to have get another one.. I have one for my boat and on thoese nasty days to sit out of the wind, rain, snow, sun worth every penny..

Well, I was not a FORD guy at all, figured I would buy a Mazda import (insert joke here) So I opened the door (made by Ford) oh well... 230K later sold it still running like a baby. Only repairs were general maintance..I was sorry to see it go So needing more stuff I bough a dodge 2006 dakota It had the best reviews, in that price range. I would have sprung for a ford but the cost of Gas !!!!, Wanted to get a toyota but did not want to mortgage my house.. Next was the GM family.. lowest reviews, How it turns out I will tell you after fishing season... So far 3,500K no issues so far LOL
