absolutly, me and the entire herd will be there

The day started like any other day this week … COLD AS HELL Drive down too the Oakville Go, Met up with Bitsmith2k and the trip was on. Arrived at Fishmasters at 7am on the dot, first thought was this ain't no cooks bay. Parking was about 500feet from the ice.. Ahhh when your pulling your pack this was half the distance you walk just too get parking at cooks So meet Steve (fishmaster) got some tips bait and we headed out with high hopes. After unpacking and setting up in the cold we started to fish, We were marking tones of fish some big some small. There were a few hook ups but nothing lasting longer than a few seconds.. I call it a learning experience. But! did catch this beauty, and no it was not on there when I put it down Over all a great day on the lower grand with cold gusty winds the moved my hut with me in it but the great company and learning made it well worth the effort. They are fine, just make sure that if you are trolling with strong line that you don't hit bottom..

To thaw your nuts out you have to find them... (or check with your wife)

Thanks for everyone that has posted information and what too bring etc. Glad I asked so I can pack accordingly Looks like a fishmaster Sat meeting at 7am (slurp big coffee here) then head out onto the river after picking up some "Buckshot Rattles" and minnows. There is a small group going and possibly meeting others on the ice. Rich your always invided to skunk it up with the rest of us

like anything, the more you use it the easier it gets. I would just wonder does anyone use a the flasher in the summer? A camera is great for all round use but like the others said Finder first

Hi All: Going to head down too Fishmasters dunviile place on Sat\Sun and try this Grand river Ice fishing thing. I figure the ICE should be good after the cold blast coming. I know it's not going to be like Simcoe clear and deep - Drop minnow wait for perch. So I have no idea what I am doing in the Grand during ice season. What tips or locations can you offer a poor guy who has too pull his own sled the hardway so in other words I won't be moving all that much once I am set up. Feel free too PM more generlized locations, tips etc or if you are going to the grand and need a person for company. I prefer to go fishing with masters of the enviorment and learn but I don't know too many people that ICE fish the lower Grand. thanks Lexx

I went into CTC for other things but thought I would just check.. They never sold them to being with. You will find that as each store is individualy owned sometime they just don't bother as at the end of the season they have to hold onto these things that don't sell. I agree why put it into a flyer and not have stock!! hummm false advertisement just too get you into the store

WOW! Thanks for sharing I hope when I am old and have my walker with mirrors on the bottom, my grand kids will appreciate pictures that I take now.

I use 20lb flouro, I tried mono but it just kept getting tangled. More for the way I was storing. Tying your own is lots of fun

I have only seen perch on the view and never an issue..

I carry both. Mitts keep you warmer but gloves allow you more controll
