  2. huge. We have a similar rock bass that lives under our dock. Poor bugger gets caught by the kids repeatedly but keeps coming back for more. They affectionately call him "Rocky"...my kids don't have the best imagination

  3. Was out with Bray again yesterday, we caught some Panfish and I was messing around with worms also and hooked into a Monster Rock Bass, biggest I've ever caught. I need to work a little with him on his camera aiming. What's everyones biggest Rock bass? I know the Ontario record is 17 inches and around 3 pounds.

  5. For sure I am in the same boat. Although on the plus side both are one of the few ways I still manage to hang with the guys!

  7. Monica and I just had to get out of the house, so on Saturday we took a trip up to devil's Lake, near Minden. Just enough time for some lure washing and a swim before the clouds looked like they might end the day with a soaking. Nothing big was caught, but we were just glad to get out and relax on the water.

  8. Had a rock do that on my big Yamaha 4 stroke. Replacing the heat exchanger was not a fun job. Book calls for 16 hours of labour to replace it. I took my time over the summer. Had to almost completely disassemble the dang thing. The only other issue I've had with my sled is the battery croaked this past winter. You would figure they would last longer then 12 years. 🙄

  9. Well just a humble opinion, I would try and get a 550 Fan, the way our winters are going, every year less and less snow. If you're only using it on the ice, a good set or maybe double them up ice scratchers might do the trick with a 4 stroke liquid.

  11. Because of so many jerks causing problems the Crown Land around Burleigh Falls has no been closed off to the public. Besides all the garbage left on the land and the vandalism to properties, there's even been reports of people crapping on the front lawn of homeowners. https://www.thepeterboroughexaminer.com/news/peterborough-region/2020/07/09/burleigh-falls-in-peterborough-county-closed-to-public-after-complaints.html#:~:text=Burleigh Falls in Peterborough County closed to public after complaints,-By Marissa Lentz&text=The Ministry of Natural Resources, the public until further notice.&text=Joe Ayotte said there were, enforcing the closure on Thursday. I'm fortunate to live only 2 miles from Burleigh Falls and the place is absolutely gorgeous and it's so hard to believe the way some people treat these beautiful spots and the more it continues the more spots will be closed off. How can anyone be such a jerk to intentionally destroy such a beautiful spot ?
