  3. Sounds like you had a great trip with lots of variety. I assume you stopped in Rabat or Casablanca...yeah, the port cities are pretty grimy in north Africa. Further down the coast is Essouria. Pretty cool place.. nice beaches and a big hippie hangout in the 60's and 70's. The Beatles, Jim Morrison, Jimmy Hendrix, etc used to hang out there, play at the festival, and smoke Moroccan hash. They still hold the World Music Festival...one of the biggest events of it's kind on the planet...and the local hash still sold everywhere...

  4. Funny, I didn't like Morocco at all, I found it dirty. Everywhere but the Mosque of course. Loved Rick's Cafe because I'm a big fan of the movie but other than that, I'll stick to Spain.

  6. Snow Tires for sure - and the studs should be allowed for anyone that wants to run them, anywhere in the Country. If you have never tried a car or truck equipped with a good agressive set of studs in winter tires , you should. I run an all wheel drive, with X-ice studded winter tires, better stopping and traction than dry pavement in summer. If every vehicle on the roads was equipped like that there would be 50% less accidents in winter. But as some previous post said, if it was logical and made life safer, our moron politicians will have none of it, unless of course, they somehow get another raise from it.

  8. I'd run rubber studs if I could. And I really think it depends on where you live if they should be mandatory or not. The entire province doesn't get the same weather.

  9. I no longer fish but still spend several weeks a year up on the West Arm of Nipissing and the highlite of every day is the incredible sunsets up there. A couple shots from last week.
