  1. I'm almost sure without calling, people post up there's a "no ethanol sticker" on the pump which should have been removed.

  2. Had a few minutes this morning and made some calls, Monte Reno has mid grade non ethanol, Sturgeon Pt at W Beach has high test non ethanol along with Thornbury Marina and Owen Sound Marina. For those interested, if there's any more please add on.

  3. Came across some old pictures I'd forgotten about and this is one I always liked. It's my son holding the 1st musky I ever caught about 50 years ago. Keeping muskies and mounting them back in the day was sorta the norm but ever since then I've regretted killing it but what's done is done. Lota musky slime under the bridge since that one so many years ago.

  5. This is all sounding like a "you know you're getting old when...." story. I totally get it because stuff like this is so relatable to me now.. 😁

  6. Kind of Trumpian in my opinion. Also a thumbs down from me. And stop buying prewrapped potatoes, they are no different that the ones in the 10 pound bag. Just more expensive.

  9. For what it's worth in regards to ethanol in fuel I have run only 87 octane fuel in my boat for years always using the appropriate amount of fuel stabilizer. As I noted earlier in this thread last year I was running a good portion of the year on three year old fuel. So yesterday I changed the filter on the fuel/water separator that had approximately 100 hours of use over the last couple of years. Given the difficulty I had in removing it I will now most certainly change it annually regardless of seasonal hours of use. So the point of this post is that while the filter had seen only gas with ethanol and old gas at that I truly expected to see some water in the fuel I drained out of it. The pictures below were taken this morning after settling for some 20 hours and there is no sign of water but there was plenty of sediment/dirt/crud at the bottom of the container. I presume, hope that it came from the input side of the filter thus showing water or no water it's a definite asset to have a good fuel filtration system onboard.

  12. I had a heading typed onto the top of this photo but when I go to email it or post it somewhere the heading is no longer there. Any way this one should have read DON'T P%&& me off !!! and you can see why it was so fitting with his muscular size, facial expression and facial scars I call him a power house as that's exactly what he is. ( the scars were prior from me rescuing him)
