  1. It,s been over a month since I hit the river. All this messed up weather put me in a funk and the river a mess .What a gorgeous morning to hit the river. -1 no wind and NO other anglers to be seen . Now that is social distancing .Man is the water up. Where I would be knee deep,I was waist deep. I have not bottom bounced in many years, but this mornings conditions warranted it. Paid off. Fresh runner that is heading to the smoker Saturday morning.

  5. So I d/l the first two seasons and watched the first 3 episodes. I though it was hilarious, best laugh I've had in a while. Basically an R rated comedy that doesn't need a laugh tract to convince viewers it's funny. I had no idea what to expect so it was all out of the blue, so many one liners. I wouldn't call it vulgar, but certainly crude for sure. I'm not a fan of sitcoms but I'm looking forward to catching more. Seasons 3 and 4 on the way.

  6. Another vote for Milwaukee FUEL (technically Model 2804-20). I have mine on a clam plate 'cause I like the "auger feel" and in my personal opinion it's safer. It's light and drills faster than my old (sold) gas auger. The batteries have never given me trouble in the cold, and I've never come close to running one out of charge in a day. EDIT to add that I use it with an 8" Fin Bore which cuts amazing. I also use a 12" extension once the ice gets thick enough but for early ice it's not needed.

  8. Is there a way to use the fish finder GPS to mark and return to the “glory hole” you found while roaming around out on the ice? Or is a separate handheld GPS unit more useful for that?

  9. Yea for sure get a hammer drill, they are made of much tougher internal components. Just don't use it in hammer mode.
