  2. Bought new in 2006, 75 tiller, no complaints what so ever. Starts instantly every time and runs quieter than the Honda, right Fish Farmer.

  3. B it depends on how long they will be out there. Is it a weekend or a week overnight fishing trip . . .Many years ago we had a heater fail on Simcoe in the middle of the night it was not pretty and glad we had two huts. yes wood is a nice touch we had one on Simcoe and lugged wood out every weekend. I remember a guy who had an oil drip system, that was classic and dangerous!

  5. Since Sail has "restructured" I hate getting the daily e-mail about the great sale they are having.. only to find that is really only a $7898.00 coat on sale %60 off.. The black Friday e-mail was no different.. but worse.. most of the fishing stuff was in-store only or limited stock. No deals to be found online.. there are a bunch of local shops running great deals but in-store only

  7. It's been a tough year OI. Between the COVID thing and losing my dad my pup also died this summer. This crappy year can end anytime now. I've had about as much as I can handle.

  8. You might be thinking of those Instant Pot electric pressure cookers ? I've got a couple, they do a cheap cut of roast beef to pot roast fall apart tender in a hour, same with pulled pork and baked beans from dry beans ( no presoaking ) in about the same. Though it may be a sin to the smoker guys here, they will do aa couple of racks of ribs in 22 minutes with a finish under the gas broiler with BBQ sauce for a quick rib fix.
