These are fun to tie. Still waiting for my pink and blue fur and flashaboo. I used a product called,Faux synthetic buck tail . It is a bit more trickier to tie as it is slippery . Use gorilla glue to secure the wraps. Eyes are craft diamonds. Just add black nail polish to the small dot to act as pupils and secure with UV resin. Some of the dumbbells already had eyes on them . These are my first try at them.
Transport Canada's boating RECOMMENDATION is to only boat with members of your own household. That said it's not law and fishing in a 14' or larger boat and staying at your own ends = more than 6' of seperation. To follow the social distancing rules under the emergency act, take separate vehicles to the launch, one guy puts the boat in and the other jumps in the nose. Doable and I have at least two buddies doing so since this all started.
We used to run into a hatch of those on the Rocky Saugeen many years ago fishing Specs, we would use #16 light Cahills to fish the rise, but it wasn't really necessary as the Brookies are dumber than a bag of hammers , never do get really selective when it comes to food like resident Bows and especially Browns.
