Ont lakes. 2 rods per angler

Let’s name all Ontario lakes that allow two rods per angler.  (I’m setting up my rod holders again so I want to have everything covered)

lake st Clair. 2 rods 

where else?

The Great Lakes

But not Georgian bay.  

id like to fish Lake Erie at some point.  
so 2 downriggers and 2 boards. And 2 leadcore.  
so six rod holders should be enough.  
now I can either do four big Jon mounting plates (two plates with a duel rod holder captain pack). 
or tracks.  Two pedestals with downriggers and two captain pack on rod holder bases.

They separate Georgian bay from the Great Lakes for some reason that I will never understand, but there is talk about allowing 2 lines while trolling, so fingers crossed

I think because a lot of G Bay "fishes" like an inland lake...the area of the 30,000 Islands from Honey Harbour up to the North Channel...as opposed to a wide open big water trolling scenario. Same for Lake Ontario...on the Bay of Quinte (although part of Lake O) you can't fish 2 lines west of the Glenora ferry.

My understanding is the 2 line allowance was brought in to appease pressure from the charter industry.

The worst is when you’re by yourself and you only run one rod.  It’s hard to know if you have a good lure on.

we achieved 2 rods on l.erie before l.st cl. was an uphill battle but common sense prevaile..... thankfully.good luck tight lines.
