First trip bearing problems

So I blew a bearing on the 407. I've got everything replaced but the dust cap. Not sure if it's from wear on the hub or it's just an odd size but I can't find a fit. Will I be able to continue my trip without a dust cap or do I need to turn around?

Take a pair of pliers and flair the inside of the dust cap, then jam it on. It I'll get you by. There is probably some wear on the inside of the hub. You may consider replacing it eventually.

Duct tape and a coke can. Cut the can in half and put over the hub and tape it. Dont laugh all, it works in a pinch like this.

I didn't use duct tape though I used a hose clamp big enough to fit.
