Looking at the manual for installing a lowrance transducer and I noticed if you follow the illustration there is not enough room between the bracket and transom to accommadate the transducer cable without severely pinching the cable. Anyone else notice this?

Can you epoxy it, so it shoots through the hull?

Never had a problem with any of their transducer cables being pinched.

Call their help desk or customer service. When I called a few years ago about a unit I had I got someone in Texas.

Never had that problem. Been through a few lowrances now.

What model transducer?

Something doesn't sound right; my cable comes off the top of my transducer, Are you sure you are reading the instructions correctly?

Take a look at the manual and you will see what I mean . I had no issue with my installation because I ran the cable beside the mounting bracket.
