limeyangler
Hi all, Got out for an hour and a bit the other morning after my night shift. No better way to wake myself up after 12hours awake through the night than my fishing pole, my dog, a pale of minnows, some hungry walleye and a can of red bull. Slip bobber and minnows can be deadly at times, so can BIG minnows( 4" -6"ers) in the fall as the feed bags go on. Spot is 18'FOW, slip bobber with 3/8oz chartreuse jig, 1.5' fluro leader attached to mainline with a micro swivel. All catch and release today, sometimes the hunt and feel of the tell tale 'walleye thud' is enough.

Tomcat
Thanks for sharing. Just wondering though what your reason was for changing up your rod and reel?
Headhunter
I'd rather watch your videos than a fishing show any day! Thanks Simon! HH PS... still envy your dog! LOL
limeyangler
Your dog was really expecting a Walleye dinner! LOL LOL…its the only time he sits still! Thanks for sharing. Just wondering though what your reason was for changing up your rod and reel? I love slip bobbering but you don't get the thrill of feeling the hit, so for the last bit i switched up to my other rod that is set up ready with a jig. I'd rather watch your videos than a fishing show any day! Thanks Simon! HH PS... still envy your dog! LOL Thanks HH….the pup is getting better with age…he was a royal pain in the butt for the first 2 years. OhioFisherman
I always though fishing with a slip bobber and a big minnow was a relaxing way to fish, just sit back and let the bait do the work of finding the fish.
