JustinHoffman Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 (edited) Hello All, Made a return trip to Algonquin Park this past week, to photograph the abundant moose but also to check on my red fox pair from the winter. Both species didn't disappoint. Came across 15 moose in the two days, but the best experience was locating a red fox den - and the six kits it contained. This was a rare find and I feel blessed to have experienced it. Here are a few sample shots. If you would like to read the story behind this discovery - as well as see additional images - feel free to check out my site. JustinHoffman Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 Thanks, Joey! Heading back later this week to spend two days with the little fellas. Can't wait. Also just treated myself to a Canon "L" series lens this morning. Itching to try it out on some wildlife... Cheers, Justin
BillM Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 Once you go 'L' you won't go back Great pics man!

misfish Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 WOW. To catch a family group shot like that. SO COOL. Great photos Justin.
JustinHoffman Posted May 23, 2013 Author Report Posted May 23, 2013 Thanks, B! Hopefully come back with some equally cool shots in two days time...
rugbyfisherman Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Awesome! What were you shooting with Justin?
fishindevil Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 Absolutely outstanding Justin !!!!!! Man we sure have some amazing photographers here on OFC I someday hope to have a camera like you guys have !!!!! I sure see some great wildlife/scenery when I'm fishing all over but most of the time things are too far away for an iPhone !!! LOL did anyone here take a course or was it all just trial and error and many hours spent in the field/lakes & rivers ???
JustinHoffman Posted June 3, 2013 Author Report Posted June 3, 2013 Rugbyfisherman - I was shooting with a Canon 7d with a Sigma 150-500mm OS telephoto. Thanks, fishindevil! No course here - strictly trial and error (with a few good guide books along the way). Many hours out in the woods definitely helps... Cheers, Justin
