young_one Posted April 30, 2013 Report Posted April 30, 2013 Very nice toy, must've been a lot of Airmiles! Now you need just a few more EF-L series lens to complete the package.
irishfield Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Like Dan.. we do good for a cheap pine muskoka chair every 2 years..
Joey Posted May 1, 2013 Author Report Posted May 1, 2013 I've been saving my airmiles for years. Had about 9,000 and wanted this camera, then heard you could transfer your HBC rewards into airmiles so did that and it gave me enough for the camera
Twocoda Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 I've been in the air miles program since 1989 and still don't have enough miles to fly from Pearson to missauga.... Maybe I can trade mine in at tummies for a timbit.... Two eyes two hands... Only makes sense to have two cameras... Congrats and enjoy!

Maybe I can trade mine in at tummies for a timbit.... Two eyes two hands... Only makes sense to have two cameras... Congrats and enjoy! Well the logic behind it was that I have the massive 100-400 mm lens for my bird pics, so when we catch a fish, I can't take a picture because that lens is for long shots and I'd have to keep changing lenses. Not really easy to do when in the heat of a large fish catching experience, so now I can have the big lens for birds etc. and the smaller lens on the other camera for fish pictures
limeyangler Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 Nice bit of kit there Joey .. ..comes earlier every year! cant wait to see the results! The first digital camera i ever bought was using Sainsbury's (the British equivalent to Loblaws) reward points Sweet Joey. I'm still working on a new toaster.
