Photoz Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 I'm not sure if this would be the proper way to dispose of an inexpensive 'found' rod & reel, but I guess it's worth a try. This aforementioned 'combo' is likely under $100.00, which was 'donated' to the salmon Gods in the last week or 2 . . . . somebody learned the hard way why you NEVER lay a rod & reel down, and take your eyes off it. If YOU lost it, just tell me what make & model it was, and in what stretch of the Ganny you lost it, I'll try to arrange getting it back to you. I'll give it about a week, if no owner shows up, I know someone who would gladly accept it.
young_one Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Very nice of you! I'm gonna try guessing, Shakespeare ugly stick with a Shimano Sahara? did I win?

torco Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 when i was a kid maybe 10 or 12. We were fishing at the mouth of the ganaraska, just bottom bouncing and i put my rod down next to me and it was a gone. Hahaha, my uncle had just warned me too. I have never made that mistake again

Christopheraaron Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Was it an 13' okuma rod with a greys buick float reel?
Christopheraaron Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Southbend Competitor with 40lb Trilene big game, 5 x 1oz bell sinkers, 4/0 Treble hook? If so, that person doesn't deserve it back, go catch a musky with it.
cheaptackle Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 No Sinclair - it was an R2F 5' kids model with 80 lb power pro! (if you only knew how many of those I actually see!) Michael
