Hi all,

Ok...i've seen this done before on here and voted for a few too. So i was wondering if this community could help our community build a no kill animal shelter here in Dryden.

We are in 1st place at present and voting ends tonight at midnight.

In the last two attempts this year we came 2nd narrowly missing out out the substantial funds on offer.

Second chance pet stores owned by a good neighbour of ours does so much for animal welfare in Dryden and surrounding areas and presently rent a property next to the pet store which is the No-Kill shelter. They have re-housed over 300 animals in the last 2 years but have outgrown the space.

click on the link and vote if you can...would be much appreciated.

Roy you don't want to make an application....you just want to click "vote". You'll have to give your email and create a password, but the whole thing takes about 5 minutes....site seems slow...probably because it's the last day of voting.

My vote has been cast....good luck, Limey! thumbsup_anim.gif

Third Time the Charm for Second Chance Pet Network

Posted by BGW on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 am 12:11:31 AM

Dryden's Second Chance Pet Network has probably won 100 thousand dollars in the Pepsi Refresh Everything challenge.

When voting closed at 10 pm Cenral Monday night, SCPN was still in first place, right where they had been for over two months.

SCPN had seen considerable support from the area and from across the nation. Complete details as they develope later this week.

I just looked at this thread for the first time and it was 12:01 am. I was a minute late. Sorry Simon.

Unless you are in a different time zone which is very possible. Will check now
