Jonny
We always knew it... we just couldn't prove it. http://www.nationalpost.com/life/health/Sorry+teetotalers+little+drinking+good+your+heart/4346517/story.html So Alberta's got it right, where a senior can get a free 26'er of liquor every month under their health plan. Do they still do that?

Muskieman
I seen this many a time in hospitals and nursing homes... 2Oz ethyl per/os Q2H during waking hours on a RX med sheet. Meaning.. 2 ounces of (Brandy,Whiskey,Tequilla,Vodka,Gin etc..) every 2 hours taken orally during waking hours. So long as provided by family or self.. and must be in a plastic bottle. It's mostly prescribed to terminal alcoholics during their stay at the hospice or LTC facility. *That's like a 26'er or more a day... but I'm glad that the province isn't paying for it.
