Hey guys, hit the road this morning just after 2am...it was awesome, started fishing topwater with a few monster crappie then nothing really for bass but a few missed fish. Started fishing frogs in the early morning and I managed a few 1.5lbr's. Rick got a few over 2lbs witch was nice to see

Here are a few from the start of the trip(GoneFishin)

A few of those fish were jig fish too. after 10ish I locked in on spinnerbait fish catching so many of them...we must of caught about 50 fish from 5-1pm...it was a good day considering the downpour we had all afternoon haha.

Here are some more pictures with some biggins!

Had a great time out there today Mike. To bad the rain didn't hold out, or we would probably still be there lol. Sorry I didn't take pictures of more of your fish I thought we had taken a couple dozen already lol.

Nice fish guys.

Where do you launch to get into Seymore? The only place I know of is downstream from Hastings. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx

Heading East on Hwy#7 Turn south on CR#30 at Havelock. Follow this road to the bridge over the Trent river.

The launch is beside the bridge on the East side.

Motor down stream...East...into Seymour Lake.

Watch your speed going down stream there's a big 10K zone.

Great going guys,,, Fished there myself,,saturday and sunday...Well over 50 fish,, biggest 3.7 lb,,didn,t see a smallmouth all weekend.. Best fight was a good fish went right threw the centre of a tire in 3 ft. of water.. Didn,t get to land the fish but the tire fought like hell..

wow! good job guys. I love Seymour Lake... been going since I was a kid with my Parents. I might be going sometime next week during the week. It's my fav lake for catching Bass. And I always launch at the bridge by Hastings beside the monument.
