so yesterday was a bust

but thought I would try to get out today

 

a bunch of other people said they were going out today and we would look for each other

 

I unloaded the skidoo and headed for the lake, saw no one

called on the radio, heard no one, cheap radios

I looked around but everyone looks the same out there and I really don't see much under the helmet

 

so I find a spot catch a few but decide to move

about then some snowmobile come running right up to my hut

oh, it's Joey and Paul

I suggest we move

I managed to get into them too, I won't say how deep we were fishing, it's a secret...LOL

OH wait that was from the first spot I was fishing, we fished in 19ft

everyone in the end caught a bunch of perch

 

 

I caught a nice pike on 2lb test line

still don't know how I got it in

 

great day on the water, thanks for the company

 

sorry I couldn't find any of the other guys out there

Good work Terry i wish i had gone out today.

The day was much warmer.

I'll be out there next weekend looking for a better day out on the ice

Nice to see you found the fish and some good company to enjoy it with! Thanks Terry. It was a beautiful day here too, Fern and I got out on the sleds for a few hours, had a blast.

Just a super day Terry. We just ate our perch and it was delicious. Thanks again for the Pike. I have special plans for that.

mine is a 2004 legend which is basically the same

they didn't make a grand touring that year

man perch fillets. its 6.30 am and all i can think of is perch mmm.
