Heya,

My boyfriend caught this fish over the weekend at BBQ island in Dunnville, but we have no idea what it is. First time i've seen one. Very pretty with big fins and white iredesent colour. Does anyone know what it is?

thanks!

well.. it's a sucker of sorts. Someone will know the type I'm sure. I'm gonna say White Sucker.

That looks like a very large silver redhorse, (not 100% certain, but about 90% sure). My buddy caught one a couple years ago in the Notty, at Angus.

Thanks for the info!

Never heard of a redhorse until now, very interesting looking fish... wouldn't mind catchn' another one even they don't seem as fiesty as carp.

Last spring i gave a local dude a couple he was gonna eat. Old timer of sorts with few teeth and a large cigar. Not sure i'd wanna wanna eat a Moira River Red Horse too badly.
