Yes. According to cops there are legions and hordes of dope dealing gangsters joining mma clubs with drug money in order to hurt cops. Hahahaha. As you hinted with tour sarcastic comment about them joining clubs to hurt construction workers. Anyways, last time I was on the 407 I saw a yorky and an opp racing each other and laughing, and weaving in and out of traffic. They were like 25 years old. If your a civilian that is called street racing. There is no chance in hell that those two punks would ever get "done up".

This mma club thing is more of the propaganda machine. It is a bargaining chip so you guys can get paid overtime to work out after the shift ends. Cops only get "done up" if the screw up is so bad that it can't be hidden.

Cops let each other off with everything. Drunk driving included. All I ever hear about is how dangerous it is to be a cop. A construction worker is 8 times more likely to be killed at work than a cop. I thought that was an interesting stat. It was given at a yearly job site safety meeting done by the Construction Safety Association of Ontario. The only people the Ministry of Labour "let off" is the companies that endanger the worker. I should have become a cop. Clean drivers abstract for life. Safe working environment (well, 8 times safer than mine is). Less travel. Job security, and a public sympathy card that can be played anytime. Aloha

Thanks for the heads up. You failed to mention what time it starts. My guess would be 7 if it is on a week night. I am lucky to get home by 7 and I am an hour and a half from there. I will however be heading to the lake Ontario salmon and trout symposium in Mississauga. At least that is on a Saturday. In early April if I remember correctly. Edit. When you get to be in your early to mid 20's you realize your father was right about everything. Everything!!!! When you get to be in your early 30's you really appreciate your father's handiness. My father has that in spades. Anyways, most people that have a bowmount MinnKota in the same style as mine know that you have to kick the crap out of it and yourself to get the bloody thing out of its little seat. Solution. My father rigged this up the other year and it works like a charm. The lever. Stainless steel, he fabricated it all. Rubber coated handle. He also made the best spud bar I have ever laid eyes on. Everywhere we go people comment and drool over it. Full on stainless steel with rubber coating and handle. I can not find a picture of it. Just thought maybe some of you handy guys could do something similar to your boat. I am telling you it works like a charm. Cheers

At least there was no damage. The oldest profession. They say it is prostitution but I figure it is theiving. There is no way a prostitute would do the things they do without at least trying to steal first :-) Time to sit back, relax and enjoy your Saturday with the family. Take comfort in the fact that it is not you walking the cold streets looking for a hit. This is also the perfect excuse to have a nice scotch before noon. :-) I had my truck and apartment broke into when I lived in Ottawa, It is a gross feeling.

Wayne buddy. If I could tell you with any certainty I would jump on this. I will not know until closer to the date. I wouldn't want to be the guy that backs out on you last minute. If you do not find anyone (which I hope you do) and it is closer to the date if I can swing it I will. For the rest of you. If you can swing it, do it. I have had the pleasure of Wayne's company for last year's Walleye World and he is a solid dude. I did not get to fish with Wayne as I fished from my boat but he had excellent results targeting shallow fish (they caught some real hogs). In the evenings we watched some hockey and the lads were all class, a good bunch. I would jump on this in a minute.

That is too bad Dan. The guys at the store are awesome. I Overheard a guy at the booth talking to a guy about flashers and he did not seem to know much. I think if you stopped into the store you would gave been pleasantly surprised with the selection and knowledge.

They are giving away a 22 foot Starcraft Islander for I think 28 grand. Inboard 6. Beautiful boat. I fell in love with the Lund Tyee 1850. All in all the show is the same as it has always been. A good day out. I did not buy a thing except an off the docks shirt for my son. All the fishing shills were there selling the same old stuff. Lots of walking billboards. A good day out.
