Your sentiment was clearly to state that you do not need much to catch a fish. Just a willow branch. ( which by the way is a decent tool) You live in a pretty good area if you would at least concede that much. Take your willow branch to the Bay of Quinte and sit in one spot all day and catch a fish. My point was that you are living in an area stuffed with fish and scolding the rest of us for our use of technology.

Windermere is no secret. Other than that I would have to kill you. The undertapped fishery would be the monster pike. Rosseau is funny fishery. You can fish Rosseau for a long time before you catch a thing but that thing might be a 12 pound walleye. Strange scary ice will be a deterrant as well.

Municiple dock. Municiple rights. Municiple decision. I think it is disgraceful that the Town of Innisfil would do this. I would, however disagree with you on one thing if you would allow me. Banning Innisfil residents from other townships is a silly idea.

I had plenty of hay rash. Stacking hay in the barn was HOT. I was a stuker. Then we would load the trucks and wagons. Stacking in the barn was the worst.

That is not the issue. We pay launch fees and all that everywhere we go without complaint. The issue is that they are denying us access outright. Not allowed to access the lake.

I am not all gung ho either way, but I will say this. Competition down - They do not have to advance product because they have no competitors. Self regulated pricing. Lots of medium to larger family run business have been bought up. So you have managers at levels you would have once had an owner. Essentially you have a world of employees where we all work for a corporation. Hard to start a small business and be your own boss under this system. The Phil Smokers of the world are a dieing breed and the Richard Peddies of the world are a dime a dozen. I believe General Electric is the biggest corporation in the world (I could be wrong). They own NBC and a bunch of broadcasting companies as well as just about anything you can think of. I am not some kind of conspiricy theorist loony. These are just facts that we are seeing occur as the world progresses and it is a bit worrying to see so much power in so few hands. They also lobby governments hard to get what they want, and as George Carlin so eloquently put it. "We all know what they want. More for them and less for us."

Yep. My point was that the noise and garbage is not the issue because when someone launches a sled or atv, the address on their license does not make it the machine silent. When some slob throws his garbage in the parking lot, where he resides has nothing to do with the repulsiveness of the action. By your comment I have the feeling that if Barrie people were allowed in than you would be fine with it. Your complaint seems to be that you feel like you are a local and are not being included. I would assert that it is (was) a public access and we should all have the opportunity.

Now that the out of towners and city folk are barred from the access, I think you will find that the garbage and noise problems will not magically go away. Lets face it, some of the "locals" that drive 10 or 15 minutes are no more well behaved than people from 30 minutes or an hour away.
