  1. This being a family forum I am happy with the auto correct. Too bad it didn't correct the demeaning r word you managed to slip in as well
  2. My wife, daughter and I all have the Canadian tire ones. Work fine for me and the price is right
  3. Big Basswood Lake blind River Good lake trout
  4. I think until they get educated by a CO. Most of the zone borders I guess really don't mean that much as there are bait shops close by on both sides. The Wawa area is particularly affected with the next closest shop being 150km away from the lake being 2km from home. Wawa doesn't have a lot to offer the population other than fishing so this will hurt if it is enforced. Lots of trout and walleye fishing there where minnows are used a lot in winter.
  5. This is going to bum a lot of people in Wawa out. Some of their best fishing is 2 miles south in a different FMZ and also a different BMZ. Since you can't transport bait fish to a different BMZ the closest they can purchase bait is over 200km away to Sault Ste Marie and only keep it for 2 weeks with a receipt. Can't even catch their own bait in the other zone because it's not their zone of residence. I can drive from Sault with bait purchased here, or trapped here and fish. Somebody should have put some more thought into this as it will affect many isolated communities near a zone border. Yikes
  6. Will there be a carbon tax on the motor or does it make it "carbon neutral" if you have paddles
  7. Well...It's making ice
  8. Son of a gun I guess I missed it by 1 Do they send you a notice. I may have to look.
  9. What I believe you should do is find what oils Arctic Cat says and use that. Doo oil is nothing like any other oil. The stuff smells like cookies burning. Along with what you did I always loosen my track and give the boogie wheels a spin to make sure bearings are good. Pry a bit and make sure rear idlers are good too.
  10. Nice piece of kit, and you finally have enough snow to lube the sliders on the Yammie
  11. LOL wet arms really suck but they make it interesting
  12. Mine's a 12 but I ride it a bunch....till last year
  13. Nice I love pulling in big fish
  14. A couple months ago I went to a Ski Doo dealer looking for a new fishing sled. He said maybe I could get one next year if I order soon. Dealers are returning deposits from orders taken last spring due to inability to deliver. Makes the price of a used sled go up I have a Yamaha with 28,000 km on it. It was worth maybe 2 k 2years ago. Now I think I could get 6k But I'm not selling because then I wouldn't be fishing this year. Good luck. Anything I see for sale right now is pretty much junk. And I kinda need a new track but can't find one
  15. They all need proper maintenance. Bearings and lubrication changes. 2 strokes don't take the miles a 4 stroke does Bad time to buy as everything is inflated but you gotta ride something Polaris even says pos right in the name. Arctic cats are pretty touchy too if you don't take good care of it
  16. I couldn't imagine living in a place that crowded. I feel for you guys.
  17. Yup Thats a nice fish
  18. .......
  19. And if the lines were actual cracks, I think the bottom end would have dropped off by now
  20. Try to get somebody to do a dye penetrant inspection on it. If you know anybody that does inspections for work it's pretty easy I'm too far away to help
  21. The vertical cracks don't look real bad but is that horizontal one a crack or a paint seam. Thats serious if its a crack
