It was thank you. And to kinda answer the question I guess, with a pellet gun you would have to hit it in the eye for it to even notice. To knock one down a 12 gauge with 5 shot is minimum and not a guaranteed kill either. Rules are basically the same as migratory bird hunting except you don't have to clean them, but you do have to pick them up and dispose. You can't use a dog to retrieve either because a wounded one will tear your dog apart with its sharp beak. This hunt will do nothing to the population because it is too restrictive for hunters to bother with them, at least this hunter.

Maybe you can shoot his eye out🙂

We used to have a 9.9 merc bought from a lodge around Wawa. We ran the heck out of that motor, across beaver dams, through ice, dropped it off the back of the truck. It kept on working Buddies don't buy rams☺️ -

Thats a good idea, no shear pins to worry about, just simply buy a new bottom end -

I saw a boat yesterday with 4- 450 Verado's on it. I doubt a stick would bend that/them shafts. PS, Merc parts made in China are to Merc specs Not a motor I would buy Edited cause I reread the OP -
Are used boat prices falling back to normal?

I run my sled about 60-80 and burp to a tad over 100 and feel comfortable but yeah, over 60 in a boat, yikes. Oh well, I wish the seller luck, and the buyer. -

A friend had a Lund 219 glass boat with a 250 Verado on it. Had plenty of power and hit 57 mph. I can't imagine how an aluminum with a 300 would dangle -

Hey Drifter, hows things Never mind the price but 300 on an 20' aluminum doesn't seem right. Is he scared to run it more than 34 hours. Thats prop tips to east arm -

Bummer, never seen it that busy. One Saturday I was launching in the city and there were 2 ahead of me. Other than unsnaping 2 tie downs my boat is ready to go though. Pull in and back up to launch, disconnect lights, take safety chain from nose and loosen winch rope, go to back and remove 2 tie downs, attach rope to cleat, back in till boat floats, remove winch strap and pull boat with cleat rope , tie to dock, park, get in boat start it and leave. 2 minutes

I apologize, I was under the impression you were new there. I need to read closer. If your actions were typical for the area then yes, he is out of line, or maybe new there himself but still no excuse, and no ,I wouldn't bother his boat..lol
-
He could have distracted them at the suv while you tied the boat a hundred yards down shore..lol I had a houseboat tied in the launch area and you couldn't get out of there once you did launch. it was a good mood day.....................
-
LOL Thats south of 7...in the north we have our own. You will work to get to your canoe.
-
Perhaps I was a bit harsh but it is poor form to take up the dock. Kinda like prepping your boat for launching while you are on the launch and 20 others are waiting for you
-
Here's your sign. I would have moved your boats about a hundred yards down the lake and tied it, if I was in a good mood. It's not proper to take up a loading unloading dock at a portage unless you are loading or unloading

I see a few here that are still expensive, like 10-20 years old asking what they paid new. I just hope used snowmobile prices hold up because as soon as my new one shows up I have a good used one for sale. -
You know it TJQ My daughter used to have to shovel them from the sidewalk

OOD magazine just had an article saying the mayfly hatch is the bonanza if you know how to fish it and detailed how. It works for me. Feed them what they want and they will eat it Slow death after a storm too.

Black flies are great, very happy and energetic right now. They seem to be getting along well with each other as they are traveling in huge swarms and all eating together.

Regarding the lost package, did you contact Canada post , the shipping company? I had a lost parcel this winter and it was tracked as delivered so I called them. I must say they worked to find it, including personal conversations when they called me and after a week they found and delivered. The sender was no help at all.

My 16' side console with 60 Yamaha was 16k brand new in 2010. I see the same unit only a 2000 for sale for 16k now so who knows the right price.
